Always enjoy watching this family and their RV adventures. Cool they did this video. They know their way around a Ford well enough and have basically only towed using 150+'s. However, as they say in the video, they have no EV experience. So go into this review with that in mind.
Nothing much new in here for most of us except maybe some interesting points in there about half tons and super duties and how the lightning felt towing that 30ft rig. 1/2 to 1/3 range as per normal. Some new-ish points are - they did pull into a KOA camping site and tried out the 50 amp service and showed how that worked a bit and they showed backing up the rig with the lightning and how all the cameras looked on the big screen.
Certainly the Lightning in either SR/ER configuration is not the right tool for a cross country expedition with the travel trailer!!
They should have used a Lightning-ER (131KW) with an appropriately timed DCFC session as close to/before arriving at the camp ground, that would have been a better simulation even if this was a short trip demonstration.
