I was just about to start a thread myself on this subject but glad you beat me to it with the complete sales document. I was disspointed that sales were actually lower in November. One thing I think we need to keep in mind is that there is a difference between SALES and PRODUCTION . And given that we all know that delivery (sales) occurs 3-4 weeks after production perhaps Ford actually hit their 15,000 production goal for MY 2022. Also you have to consider that the factory was shut down for MY changeover the last couple weeks in November.

But the bottom line is, as a 5/20/2022 reservation holder, reality is that it's a long time before I'm gonna see a Lightning in my driveway.

Anybody know when the ramp up in production is supposed to start for the Lightning? They seem to be stuck on about 2000 units/month for a while now. Can’t imagine all 200,000 reservation holders will be invited by next summer at this rate

They are adding another production crew now. I believe they are cross training the new people with the current crews now and will go to 3 production crews at the first of the year.

They are supposed to start increasing the line speed too but I don't think that gets too drastic until spring when the two building expansions are completed.

I saw this production prediction chart on October 15, 2022.
From my reading:
They were planning (hoping?) that production would remain steady Oct to the end of the year, low in January, back to steady in February, then maybe a 30% increase March to May. From October 2022 to August 2023 they were planning (or hoping) to have completed only 30% of their total production for 2023 model year.

Forgive me if this is old news, but I noticed in the highlights that the next generation of BlueCruise will introduce lane changes. Cool!

Correct, but it is being shown on prior year vehicles, so believe it is just software updates. It doesn't seem there are any hardware changes needed or happening to get the updates working.

So, I would guess that the Android Auto replacing the Sync 5 will happen in August based on this and the other things they have said.

It will be interesting if they can make this ramp. No better than they manage their supply chain it will be interesting if they have parts since they are still pulling features today.

I said it this past summer and it came true, I still don't think they will get the Android OS update in. It will truly depend on how long they plan on running production for this truck. If the plan is to end this truck when the redesign starts in TN then I say it gets scrapped completely. They don't have the staff to support two stacks much less one. If for some reason there is demand and they continue to build both trucks at the same time for a year or two they might still try to get it done as they will have a few model years to support, but my bet is still that they don't get Android OS into this truck in its current form.

From that report, I projected the following, the yellow cells are actual data.

This chart is also on my version of the tracker
Ford F-150 Lightning đź“Š F-150 Lightning November 2022 Sales: 2,062 Vehicles; 13,258 Sold to Date 1670095397352

Hopefully supply constraints don't ruin these expectations!
Assumptions 10/30 closing run rate is similar to the narrative that it will be the same on 12/31/23
The pre/post expansion ratio 30/70 is not following projections using live data YTD (they are ahead of plan) but the Holiday and mid year slow down could impact this projection.
