I believe the stipulations are for COMMERCIAL INSTALLATIONS.They extended it through 2032 but it's subject to a number of census/wage stipulations now. Latest instructions seemingly haven't been written since the extension was announced in the Inflation Reduction Act.
Found the draft for the updated version. Don't see a distinct differentiation for census tract eligibility.I believe the stipulations are for COMMERCIAL INSTALLATIONS.
It's my understand that aspect relates to commercial installations, be it retail charging or communal charging in high density parking areas of housing complex's, etc) not relevant to personal use installations."Property placed in service after 2022 must be located in an eligible census tract."
It is in the section Qualified Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property which is a commercial installation...Found the draft for the updated version. Don't see a distinct differentiation for census tract eligibility.

Yep Great deal, it covers the charger, wire, outlet and other necessary hardware cost. I'll probably look for something at the end of 2023 to replace my Lectron 32a.30% back, up to $1,000 total. I would assume if it’s built into the cost then it would be tough to claim it since there is no line item?So how would we file if we received the charger on the ER battery? I did my own intallation.
Supplies only.So how would we file if we received the charger on the ER battery? I did my own intallation.
Why would it not be the retail price of the charger since that cost is baked into the MSRP before options and destination charge? Ford did not gibe us the mobile charger or the Charge Station Pro for free out of the kindness of its heart.Supplies only.
Because you can't produce a bill showing you bought it. Included options cost less than bought at retail. Why would it not be the retail price of the charger since that cost is baked into the MSRP before options and destination charge? No. You claim both in 2023 when you put the charger "in use".so i bought my charger on Dec 30th 2022, and will be getting installation of the outlet sometime this month. so I can claim the charger on 2022 taxes and the install on 2023 taxes right? its not like claim only once?
