Wanted to share a few pics of my finished (for now) truck setup. Researched all I could and landed on this setup below for the best weight/aero/aesthetics combo. It won’t be everyone’s thing no doubt but the drive/range compromise is minimal and I like the military style wheels.

Level: Readylift 2”

Wheels: Brink Barracks flow forged 20x9 +18 offset 33.3lbs

Tires: Nitto Recon Grappler 275/65/R20 116T 47.53lbs and 34” tall

Tonneau: Truxedo X15 soft (personal preference)

Range was 2.2 per mile before and so far 2.1 after - ride quality is stellar and noise is louder by comparison but minimal overall.

Hope this helps somebody looking to beef up the look with minimal sacrifice

Any rubbing? Looks like you did not need to trim to fit the 34’s with he 2 lift

no rubbing at all and no need to trim, could probably trim and fit 35s but I couldn’t find a tire within 20lbs weight wise of this Recon 34.

You mentioned it’s a little bit louder is that from tire noise or wind noise from the lift?

I’ve heard completely contra information about the Nitto Recon Grapplers with some people saying that are low noise and others describing them as noisy. Either way probably worth it for the great look the truck has.

Thanks on the truck looks

the tires definitely make more noise than stock, much more - but they are quiet compared to most AT/MT tires. Any noise in these trucks is amplified due to the silence - it’s a non issue with music on but you hear them listening to a podcast. IMO even the seat coolers are loud in this truck relative to the silent basic operation.

How do you like this after some time?
also did you adjust the speedo for the new tire size?

I have my truck scheduled for the same lift (2” RC) with the same tires (p-rated recon 34’s) But on stock wheels….wondering what my range impact will be

So I did not like it very much drive wise, actually went back to stock and the drawing board. Tomorrow I’m going with the RC 3” kit including UCA which I’ve been told make a big difference in ride quality. Another set of Brink flow forged wheels, this time the lighter weight insurgents - and most importantly the Pirelli AT that is Rivian spec. It looks as good as the recon IMHO and rides great (have them on my wife’s R1S) but is also MUCH quieter than the recons which got loud after a couple thousand miles.

The UCAs and Pirelli EV tuned Rivians both cost more but I believe they will be worth it in preserving the good qualities of the truck (smooth/silent). Hopefully this reply reaches you in time and helps the decision.

Oh man, now you have me nervous, I did have 2021 ICE F150 with 2” pucks and Terra Grappler G2 275/65/20 P rated (almost identical to recons) and it rode and handled great.

I was debating the pirelli’s but they are very expensive and 1lb heavier….decisions/decisions

did you run stock tires with the 2” level at all?

I didn’t have the stocks on at all with pucks so can’t speak to that ride quality wise. Can say I would definitely pay the difference for pirellis that are EV specific with the pound not being a big deal vs noise/ride quality. Also wouldn’t level again without UCAs but this is just my experience….
