Very interesting.
It’s definitely a start, but the no delivery option still gives other vendors such as Carvana & CarMax a heavy lead for people that don’t want anything to do with dealerships. And since delivery isn’t an option, yet, I just see this in it’s current state as more advertising for Ford CPO vehicles.

Buying used direct from an owner is always an option too on places like facebook marketplace, etc. I’d definitely want to test drive and odb scan any used vehicle before purchase.

so, in essence, this is simply a way for each dealer location to 'consolidate' their own Used Ford vehicles, for sale 'online', thru the Amazon purchasing system/App... although, you still are buying the vehicle from the Local Ford Dealer who has it on their lot.
Isee also that they are saying 'shopping within a 75mi radius', which seems limiting, for sure.
Also, the Amazon platform only serves to 'start' the transaction - there's no clear understanding as to what that means.

I like the idea, in basics, as the past has been filled with finding a used or new Ford at a far-away dealer, and yet no way to have them 'ship it' to a local dealer, etc. This may not necessarily solve that, but at least it might help consolidate the online search/shopping option, and do some of the pre-purchase paperwork, which is not always accommodating at many dealers... Tesla, Carvana, and others certainly have their upper-hand with this.
