$0.22 per kWh. No time of use. Not including my undersized solar system. It’s a damn bargain out here in Southern California. My parents live about 3 miles from me on SCE and pay way way more.
It sounds like your dealer did not properly balance the battery before slapping it back in your truck. So basically one of your battery modules is hitting 100% before the rest. This triggers charging to stop early. If possible I would go to a different dealer. Either way the dealer needs to...
Got mine installed this morning. 275/65/20. Only driven a few miles so far so can’t comment on efficiency. My truck does have a 1.5” level if anyone is wondering. Love the look and they feel great. Haven’t taken it on the highway yet but around town they are very quiet. Excited to get them in...
I just ordered a set of 275/65r20 (34s) last night. Getting them installed next Saturday. Goodyear has a 20% off coupon on their website right now that pushed me over the edge. I originally wanted a set of the Toyo Open Country EV but they appear to be completely sold out across the country...
So I went to Americas Tire today and they agreed to match Fords discounted price. Unfortunately they also can’t find a set of the sl load 275/65r20 tires that I’m after. They are going to reach out to Toyo directly on Monday and see what we can do.
The advisor did mention I might have better luck with tire rack or equivalent as they have more warehouses to pull from. Although they are currently backordered on Tirerack. That's a great idea. I may see if America's Tire locate some and match Ford's deal.
I inquired with my dealer for a set of 275/65R20 to take advantage of the buy 3 get 1 for 1$ special and they could only find 2 tires scattered throughout the whole country with their suppliers. Luckily my stock tires are fine at 25k miles but am still hoping to grab a pair of toyos on sale at...
I love the flexibility of this. I messed around with a solar tonneau cover a while back but ultimately removed it due to the inconvenience of plugging and unplugging the system for a few miles a day. If there was an AC inlet in the bed that could potentially remove a lot of the annoyance and...
While I would realistically hardly ever need this, I would install the inlet strictly to shut down any EV truck nay sayers I may conversate with (sadly there are a lot in my line of work). Bravo by the way. Love the ingenuity and will follow your future updates with great interest.
I don’t think that prototype has any lift on it. My lightning has a 1.5” level on it and looks a good bit taller than this prototype.
Also 275/65/18? Really ford? Thats only a 32” wheel. The standard lightning with the 20 or 22” rims are 33’s. Where’s the beef?
Either you have a cheap leviton nema 14-50 outlet that has a poor connection with the mobile charger which is causing overheating or your mobile charger is faulty causing it to overheat. Both cases are fairly common unfortunately. I would guess its the mobile charger that's faulty. If that is...
