The only Silverado worth it is the low trim. We had the Trail Boss Max Range last week on review and it's single-handedly the worst electric pickup I've driven in terms of drivability.Unless you are willing to go down to a low trim Silverado, the Lightning is the most affordable one. Rivians are cool but I have heard mix feedback regarding warranty work/service appointment scheduling.
AIEEEEE! my truck is a 2023 in that exact color. So sorry! My beautiful 2023 Lightning Lariat ER in Azure Grey was involved in a crash and looks to be totaled. Fortunately no injuries! Big transit van decided to U-turn into my truck.
I don't owe any money on it, so once I get a settlement I will put into a new or used truck. With all our collective experience with electric trucks, any recommendations on what to get? I'm leaning towards another Lightning, either Lariat or Platinum, probably 2023 or 2024 with low miles.

About 40mph (I wasn't in the truck but this is what I'm told)Now I'm curious:
1. At what relative speeds did the vehicles connect?
Ford Transit van in about the same shape unfortunately. I'm sure both are totaled.2. What did the other vehicle look like? Better? Worse? About the same?

someone's biasYep, I’ld be looking for another Lightning, but in Rapid Red.![]()
Not sure I would say much better. Tom with State of Charge got 2.1mi/kWh with the Lightning and 2.0mi/kWh with the Silverado EV on his 70mph range test. The lightning has much better efficiency
