What year is this ? 1969? Vehicles and software are no longer separate things. It’s a complete package. You need both to be successful.
This iteration of the F150L is nothing more than a stepping stone to a more modern architecture / design. They did so to help ease the aging population (read...
That’s not my experience. They work very well.
Which is why the UX team moved the button elsewhere. Its no longer needed. Maybe you have a faulty sensor?
Do you still manually adjust the headlights / high beams? Or let auto do its thing ?
No need to hold onto the old way of doing things. If...
I think this is sadly true. Ford software is 10+ years behind Tesla. I doubt that gap will ever be closed. I suspect a manufacturer agnostic / standard solution may take over or be mandated.
The only savings Grace we have is Apple car play - which is very well done.
If you want the car to be charged to desired % at your departure time, then use departure times.
What is stupid is that scheduled charging ALSO optimizes for full charge at the END of your schedule charging window. Instead of forcing it to only start when told to do so and being short on...
I have major rate swings.
$0.11/kwh for super-off-peak (12am-6am) and $0.66/kwh for peak (4-9pm).
Have been using the mobile charger at 32A, which is not enough to charge the car in 6 hours, but given how often it overheats and throttles back the AMPs, ive been barely charging 25-30kwh in...
The F150L knows nothing of TOU rates. All it gives you it times windows when you can schedule charging. And if it needs more than that window, then it starts early so that it does not run over the end time.
Why @Ford Motor Company … just why.
7:30pm. In the middle of a CA flex-alert and $0.66/kwh PEAK rates. Plug in the truck (21%) to charge at the set 12am-6am window, and it starts pulling 11kwh immediately.

Added a tonneau cover ! BAKFlip MX4 from @Realtruck ! Super fast shipping!
Also just walked out the garage to check on the truck and it spooked me. Forgot I turned it on to cool the cabin ahead of our drive :)
We have a model Y and now the lightning. The Y is superior in basically every single way except for the size and the fact that it is not a truck.
Cybertruck is going to be amazing.
For now - the F150L is an OK option :)
AFAIK it is the exact same process as the 'OEM' spray in. The line-X seems to be very high quality and comes highly reccomended. OEM may even be line-x for all we know. It's really just a matter of whether or not you order it from the factory, and or run the risk of the liner causing a build...
