  2. 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning - Powertrain Module Reprogramming In The FDRS Temporarily Suspended

I'm wondering whether to charge to 90%, as I normally do, or to 100% to help the balancing process (and then drive some in the next day or so).
  3. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

That was my guess. I think you experienced the same I described. About 9kWh extra.
  4. Road trip decision point EV or ICE (MN->WY)

An EA charging station was added at the Grand Canyon last year. There will be DCFC soon at most big national parks.
  5. Road trip decision point EV or ICE (MN->WY)

    1) No issue at all. Leave with 100%, and when you're at 50% evaluate if you need to slow down. 2) Also non-issue. Do what ABRP says, and drive max of 65mph and you will be fine. At 50% you can evaluate if you can speed up. 3) Yes, challenging. I compute it as maybe 200 miles tops to the...
  6. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

How were you measuring the amount of energy added to the battery? I charged to 100% for a trip 2 months ago. I was at 81%, charged to 100%. Expected to 14.4kW, so with loss that would be about 15.5kW. Added 23.4kW, sending 25.44. I was told by an expert on the Mach-E forum that when you...
  7. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

Physical repair but no PCM update.
  8. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

So for those that got theirs repaired by no software update, what if anything have you noticed after the repair? Weird charging? Not the full battery available? Not 100% power? Anything?
  9. 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning - Powertrain Module Reprogramming In The FDRS Temporarily Suspended

That could be it. First time charging with the new app, I charged the loaner but of course wasn't connected to it.
  10. 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning - Powertrain Module Reprogramming In The FDRS Temporarily Suspended

My battery array replacement is complete, and they will give me the truck back later today. Right now it's charging, but charging isn't making sense. Was at 37%, charging at a rate of 9.3kW per hour. It climbed fast. At 1 hour (now), it's at 52%. 52 - 37 = 15%. 15% of 131 is 19.65kW, but...
  11. Change access code from ford pass?

No, you cannot. You must be at the vehicle to do so. You can add codes (at the vehicle), and delete codes, but the original factory code will still work.
  12. Trailer disconnect but range wrong

Go and reset EV history if it bothers you.
  13. Slow DCFC charging

    Which adapter are you using? I noted some charging speeds when using Tesla Superchargers on my end of March / beginning of April trip. 25% SOC- 164.52kW 63% SOC - 128.4kW 33.5% SOC - 164.92kW 42% SOC - 167.65kW 57% SOC - 131.75kW at EA, not Tesla 38% SOC - 163.58kW 61%SOC - 150.95kW 65% SOC -...

  15. Trailer disconnect but range wrong

And next time switch to No trailer before unplugging the trailer.
  16. Anyone done a deep dive into real Level 2 charge efficiency?

7% level 2 loss between charger and battery is normal.
  17. Anyone done a deep dive into real Level 2 charge efficiency?

I can tell you that in February when I charged to 100% before a trip, the amount of energy (going from 89% to 100%) didn't make sense to me. I expected (0.11 x 131 = 14.4kW). I put in 23.4kW. My charger showed 25.33 with a 7.6% loss. I asked an expert on the Mach-E forum, and here's what...
