  1. What is this yellow adapter(?) that came with my Lightning?

My 23 ER lariat had one.
  2. Dealer dropped Truck during Tire Rotation

We have a full-sized mismatched spare. It is slightly smaller than the other 4 and has it's own limitations that are spelled out in the manual. Some people have replaced it with a real full sized spare.
  3. Horrible Cup holders?

You definitely have to finesse them in for it to not splash. I do wish it was just a little less tight. "Spit on it" does not work in all scenarios. :sneaky:
  4. Lane keeping and bluecruise absurdly annoying. Can’t drive with it.

I also have Maui Jims and I find that I have less nag with them on than without them.
  5. Do you guys like “creep” mode?

I’ve driven all manual transmission vehicles before I got into EVs so creep feels weird to me. I’ve been using 1Pedal since day 1.
  6. Yesterday was a big win for EVs in the EV Revolution

Where did you see that? I found this tweet from Rivian that sometime in march they'll see chargers in the car and only after that will they start sending out adapters.
  7. Easy way to safely access backup power for home and free (for some PG&E customers)

Based on the Generalink site, it looks they provide the cord since one end appears to be proprietary.
  8. Driving in snow?

I don’t disagree with you, but we don’t see 45 and under super often so I took the risky choice. Glad I don’t have to worry about that anymore though. Before I got my first EV I only drove manual vehicles and if it snowed I slowed down with engine braking to help prevent sliding. I think that’s...
  9. Driving in snow?

I feel like none of that is true. I had a model 3 and when I got it there wasn’t even an option for 1-pedal drive…yes you can turn it off. Second, 1-pedal is better for snow. We don’t get much in the south, but I drove mine with summer tires on snow and was fine.
  10. One Pedal vs Two Pedal Driving — which is more efficient?

You're right. My brain keeps going back to my Model 3 which was friction brakes or 1-pedal. I enjoy 1-pedal so I am going to stick with it.
  11. One Pedal vs Two Pedal Driving — which is more efficient?

I disagree that it won't make a difference in brake wear. Even if you are gently applying your breaks they will degrade more than literally not using them. I believe they'll last significantly longer with 1 pedal.
  12. Driving in snow?

I see this take all the time. Sport mode and 1-pedal are not mutually exclusive: you can use 1, both, or neither. I’m not sure why everyone compares using Sport mode or 1-pedal. I haven’t taken mine in snow yet, but I imagine 1-pedal with normal mode would be best since it gives you a more...
  13. Lane keeping and bluecruise absurdly annoying. Can’t drive with it.

I’ve used my BC for a few hundred miles and it has only nagged me when I was actively not looking at the road. It doesn’t even nag when I look around for a few seconds.
  14. Are ‘23 and newer trucks coming with a frunk release cover??

On mine the front cover pops off. It almost looks like the older style is just half of the full cover.
  15. Are ‘23 and newer trucks coming with a frunk release cover??

Mine is a 23 and it came with a cover like this.
