You don’t have to be stuck with your “original” game plan. You can use the lightning. As I said I drove it back from LA to Michigan. I do this drive a few times a year so I know how long it takes. Overall that same trip was only about 8 hrs longer. But I made it work. I picked charging stops...
I’ve done some searching but not come up with anything. I have a 23 lariat with the dark grey (gunmetal) ish grey that a lot of our trucks came with. But have the chrome lugs. Has anybody found a dark grey lugnut set by any chance. I can find black all day long but I’d rather have something that...
I agree. I drove my truck home from California to Michigan and set cruise usually around 73ish and that got me right at 2.0 for the total trip of about 2400 miles. There were a few times I pushed it up to 75-76 and yeah efficiency dropped like a rock! At home I don’t give a shit. I’ll drive 80...
I’m using this one. It’s old school. Just dial in the amps you need and a dial timer. I found going low tech with the charger works better. When I used these electronic ones they sometimes turn off when they see higher voltage like when the truck will come back online and then go back to...
That’s because for whatever reason when updates are done with fdrs the coolant pumps come on for the battery and run the entire time. Sometimes the truck will pull north of 50amps from the LVB. I have a large battery charger I put my truck on whenever I do updates that take time like the IPMA.
I thought that might be a possible issue but even with the cover open does not change its behavior. My PB used to be 2 button presses and it opened every time so this is a mystery.
This might be a stupid question. Whats the secret to get the tailgate to open? On the fob hit the button twice goes down or up fine. Use the button on the dash or the button on the gate and I can’t figure out what it wants. Some times it’s 3 presses. Sometimes 4-5 presses. I’ve tried 2x quick...
Yeah you could get a bin from an xlt or lower trim that does not have the charger. Not sure if the lid would fit or not. And yes you could code out the charging pad with forscan.
Yeah I’d have to agree. Mine works just fine. My 16 charges fine every time I put it on. I will say it gets a little warm sometimes. But nothing out of the ordinary that I have seen or should I say felt. Lol.
That’s just what I was thinking. My lariat is almost a platty. lol. Has the power boards. Only thing I’m missing really is message seats and the unleashed system. That LT ain’t gonna have all this fancy shit we got. My truck stickered at almost 82k but paid 58k OTD. I’m quite pleased. And yes...
I don’t notice any battery draining issues with my iPhone. But I agree PAAK needs lots of work. Half the time the truck does not “welcome” me when I walk up to it. Then have to put my hand in the handle several times before it wakes up and unlocks. I’ve just gone back to carrying the fob for now...
Copy that. Yes I agree there is no reason they could not have updated our maps to show superchargers. In the meantime what I do is find the closest fast charger to the supercharger that I can find and tell the nav to take me there then just go to the supercharger. It’s a workaround but better...
