  1. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

They've fixed the double email - that was an error. And you can't edit the email because CR is writing it.
  2. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

An update! We've just finished a livestream with Nate from Juice-Rescue, and Stacey Higginbotham from Consumer Reports. You can see the livestream here: Consumer Reports has opened up a Google Form for interested parties who would like to co-sign the letter to the FTC on the matter...
  3. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

Glad to be of help! Without divulging my actual address (because, hey, this is the internet and people aren't always that nice) - I'm in an area with absolutely abysmal cellphone reception (foothills of the Coast Range) so I usually manually check once or twice a month. I would *love* to know...
  4. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

Yesterday, I did ANOTHER test of our HIS. Prior to this most recent round of updates, I had to park my Truck off to one side on some gravel next to our driveway, skewed at 45 degrees to our Chicken coop so that the HIS would actually talk to the truck. However, yesterday, I was able to plug...
  5. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

That’s a stuck relay. The alarm is to warn you that the relay has failed in an unsafe position (it happens from time to time). 1) Unplug it (or turn the breaker off) 2)Perform “Percussive maintenance” on it. It usually works best for me with a closed fist bashed on the front part of the case...
  6. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

Update: I’ve just tried our first HIS simulated power cut since we got the 6.14 update to our truck, a new FCSP with 2.112.91:2.149:1.32:1.53:0.62 software, and the newest inverter software (revision 1. if memory serves?) Currently pulling between 4 kW and 8.9 kW with no power variations...
  7. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

Just got the 6.14 update, and recently got a new CSP (which I've got updated today with the latest software). Can't wait to do a simulated test ;) I can confirm that you can run the HIS AND pro Power onboard (at least, I've done that in the past)
  8. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

Should be fixed now! I suck at Discord, but our mods have fixed it ;) I just tried it out, and it seems like it's not quite ready for prime time yet - I couldn't see any way to officially add our working JuiceBox to it - and had trouble registering.
  9. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

For what it's worth, we're working on putting new hardware inside the old units - but I'm also open to people who have the brains to write new firmware to give us access to stock units. We've made a discord chat room as part of our Transport Evolved chat here: https://discord.gg/zMvjCNSn4H
  10. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

The hardware was great. The forced upgrade? Not so much. Either way, be careful about schadenfreude… it can bite you in the butt ;)
  11. JuiceBox (Enel X Way North America) to cease operations effective October 11, 2024

For what it's worth, we're working on swapping ours out with open-source innards. I've got the parts sitting on my desk, but need some spare time (and a little more money) to finish and get it ready for review.
  12. CSP: auto de-rating to 4 ish kWh after 2 years (see photos)

I just had our unit successfully swapped out, and some interesting things came about. First, the swap over was pretty darned seamless from a truck perspective. 1)Setting up the FCSP with its own dedicated wifi (because security) was the easiest it's ever been. 2) Setting up the FCSP with my...
  13. CSP: auto de-rating to 4 ish kWh after 2 years (see photos)

Alas, no - I'll have to do some digging. I actually have a spare FCSP too at the house (because when I purchased the replacement for my written-off truck, I purposely got a '23 so I'd get the dual chargers etc. It came with a complimentary FCSP ;)
  14. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

I'm very curious what's waiting on our '23 at TE. @rugedraw may I ping you also?
  15. CSP: auto de-rating to 4 ish kWh after 2 years (see photos)

I would certainly talk to Ford about this. We just had an RMA on our original FCSP -Actually it's the second one we've had, because the first one was misbehaving with the HIS. The night before we were going up to BC for Everything Electric, I'd set the unit to charge the truck to 100% with a...
  16. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

Hey! That’s me! Yes, it’s me. I currently don’t have a functional system because our FCSP is dead due to a failure in the Siemens unit. I have a replacement but Ford wants an electrician to install it and they’re not available until 10/9. The FCSP issue right now is the truck goes into deep...
  17. Installed a new OEM lock mated to work with my truck's fob key to protect my full-use spare OEM wheel.

For what it's worth, I did the same thing with my 2023 F150 Lightning, because my original F150 Lightning had it. As I understand it, you have two options (or certainly did). You can buy a lock for the spare wheel holder that's completely different to the key that came with your truck (a part...
  18. Is Anybody Happy With Their Lightning?

Late to this, but we love ours. It's a work truck for Transport Evolved, it's a farm truck for getting things for our smallholding/chickens/otheranimals. It's a wood hauler for my wife. It's not the first vehicle I'd choose for everyday driving (we have a Bolt EV for that that's completely...
