I don't see both maps together, but, apple maps will show the directions on the main screen and calculations on the guessometer, so, there is some sort of extra integration recently added. Google maps and waze do not do the same thing.
Plan route on ABRP, note chargers you want to stop at, go to Ford nav in truck, lookup charger location, hit the "find charger near location" button, pick the charger, drive to it, in vehicle nav will prep for charging... charge, rinse, repeat.
One of my biggest annoyances with the truck, which was the same in my ice f150 prior, is how long the infotainment takes to boot up. I can be a mile down the road from home before the center stack is awake and functioning properly. Most annoying when it reverts to some prior setting that is...
I haven't deterred from stock size on lightning, but, every other truck I have had (4), I went up in aspect ratio to increase the sidewall, and it did give a better ride...
Love mine. Bought used (10k miles). Now have almost 40k. Love it. Other than minor annoyances, little things that wouldn't exist on a less modern vehicle, has been smooth sailing.
Wish I had seen this a couple months ago, broke down and bought and A2Z.
side note, to each their own, but, selling a good functioning vehicle at a huge loss because OTA updates are slow? Seems a little like misguided priorities... But, I got mine used, was able to have it fully up to date...
I my experience voice controls cause more aggravation and distraction than a few screen taps.
this system is way to sensitive and it's alerts are more risk than help.
Let people use it when driving. 99% of people are going to type on their phone when the screen won't let them do things underway, so quit the nanny state and just unlock the feature I paid for.
Reading more details, I'm not sure if this is the time to sell or buy. Love my lightning, obviously Ford has had some quality issues, but, they are improving. Also, there software subcription model, which personally I don't like, is selling well and growing quickly. The EV market is down from...
That's a start. No where near enough for the 2035 goals. Density doesn't need to equal gas with home charging, but, eventually, if most cars are electric, it will need to be at least 25% of gas frequency, my guess.
I guess I had a similar experience, except that the tech at my dealer worked on it a good while (no clue what they did) and got it fixed and I have not a single problem from the sensors since then, going on 2 months. I went in for several of the CSB/23B70B and some other TSB issues, and he did...
I find it cheap, flimsy feeling, rarely opens on first attempt and never closes. Seems like the worst made part of the whole vehicle. Terrible. Why not just a spring loaded door with a screw on cover for waterprooofing, like a 1984 gas cap... a million better ways they could have done this...
It will take a lot of time for the public narrative to change. Right now roadtrips are really unrealistic to a lot of people. It's a learning curve. Can they be done with a little planning and patience, sure, but, most people just want to get in and go.
