I had 12' base board in my truck on Sunday. I put it through the rear window so it rested on top of the rear seat and the tailgate. With one end of the boards over the center console the other end barely went beyond the tailgate. A red flag was unnecessary. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take...
I believe Off Road engages the locking differential thus it should be used while off road only.
I figure a range of 250 miles in the summer and 200 miles in the winter. That's pretty conservative and I only start to look at it if the trip approaches those numbers. I never look at the range...
Will you use data logging? What vehicles don't have a CCS capability and what are the odds you'll want to charge one of those? What can you realistically get for a FCSP and how much does another charger cost?
From my perspective as someone who doesn't care about stats or charging some future...
The truck drives itself, communicates with satellites, and can be remote started from anywhere in earth with a cell signal; it better change the time automatically in every state except Arizona and Hawaii! Sheesh, for the price I'm a little upset it doesn't do my dishes.😉
I also hate touching one of two finger sized spots on the screen depending if I'm hot or cold. I'm also pretty sure there is a pea under the driver's seat in my truck. It is so uncomfortable I can hardly stand it.🙄
I run Lariat wheels in the winter and Platinum wheels in the summer. In theory the difference between Platinum range and Lariat range is about 0.1 m/kWh. I don't detect the difference.
Platinums have stiffer springs than the rest of lineup. That may or may not make a difference when going from...
Find a new dealer. If I understand you, the dealer took $200, told you nothing was wrong, then told you an OTA update would fix a CONNECTIVITY issue? If they weren't laughing when they said it, they are incompetent.
I'd like to argue with you about how your experience is an outlier and Ford really does a great job with customer service but I can't because they don't.
Find a dealer that will take care of your tailgate without taking your truck. When you find that dealer give them more business and tell us...
Indeed! The first step while troubleshooting should be to unplug everything that is known to be on the circuit in order to determine if it's in the wiring itself. In my case it was a fireplace fan that some incompetent baffoon (me) had wired wrong.🤦♂️
If the truck says the circuit is ground faulting it's because ground is touching neutral in the circuit. You can troubleshoot it if you want but if swapping into a different circuit suits your needs maybe it isn't worth the time and effort.
I believed that too which is why I bought a set of Lariat take-offs. I wasn't able to detect an efficiency difference with different wheels.
Honestly I don't think I could detect a 0.1 m/kWh difference anyway. Disregard everything I've said.🤣
Try resetting to factory settings in Forscan. Had you activated adaptive headlights previously? If so, you can reactivate them after verifying the bending feature works.
I've theorized that Max Tow is the reason the Platinum's EPA range is 300 instead of 320 for all other trims. Max Tow is standard on a Platinum and optional on other trims. I've not verified this in any scientific way.
