OK, the new version of FordPass (5.7.0) is not allowing me to change "Target Charge", nor is updating the current SOC. Anybody else having similar issues?
Looks like great trip. You went through Elk (Greenwood) CA! Shhhhh, don't tell anyone else about it. There's not much you can't do in a '23 SR today. Imagine what it's going to be like 5 years from now
Soooo the California Vehicle Code, as I understand it, says you can have loads extend no further than 2/3rds your wheelbase length beyond the vehicle, or in our case about 97". The kayaks are 14'- 10". As long as the "vehicle" includes the tailgate in the down position, I'm good, I think.
When I hit the "Energy" button I get a message that says "Energy Features Disabled - To enable turn on Driving Data...". I turned on Driving Data in the vehicle, rebooted the phone (app), turned the vehicle on and off a few times, waited an hour, still doesn't work. Thoughts?
I thought that it may have been a cruise control issue, and it still could have been, but then that would say something about it not turning off when I applied the brakes. I wasn't aware enough at the time to notice whether the cruse control indicator was lit up. It was a bit harrowing, other...
Experienced "runaway throttle" yesterday. After a hard acceleration the vehicle would not drop back to "idle". I ended up keeping constant pressure on the brake pedal, pulled off to the side and had to essentially stand on the bakes to keep from moving. Shifted into N, then Park, and when put...
My Emporia charger allows me to adjust the charging rate up to 48A. I frequently charge below 48A because the 49ers lost. Is that not "direct" control? Forgive me if I'm a bit grumpy...
I'm not seeing the "Recent Changes" option, anybody else in my boat? Also, while I'm at it, is anybody else's WiFi turning off by itself in the vehicle?
In the North Bay Area, I rarely see Lightnings, probably see Rivians on a 10:1 basis. I don't get it. It may be that the ag folks (think spoiled grape juice) are actually not spending as much time on the public roads, ie actually using them as trucks. Tesla is the #1 selling car in CA, at...
Four days after my previous Lightning was returned to me after a couple of battery module replacements, my motor temperature shot up and initiated the requisite bells and whistles. Back to the dealer it went, evidently it took four days of driving and a couple hundred miles to move a bubble of...
Update:
Lemon-lawed the beast. Dropped it off at the dealer today and picked up my check. Drove 60 miles to a dealer that tried harder and bought another one. Same damn truck except this one was made 11 months after the first one. So yeah, I'd recommend it to others, if anyone is asking.
