Thanks for the suggestion. My LVB was not low. I got the BMS replacement and trickle-charge the LVB daily to ~80%. The LVB never dips below 70% SOC, and, IIRC, was about 74% when I had the frunk closure problem described in the OP. The truck had its right frunk cover clipped on again, went...
It didn't do this repeatedly for me, as I described in my OP post.
But, incredibly, the frunk had closed via FP before I put the right frunk cover back on Sunday night on completing LVB trickle charging. Monday, with the cover clipped on, the frunk wouldn't close.
Today, to trickle charge, I...
I've likely got a new variation of the FRUNK WON'T CLOSE issue.
The various manifestations of the issue have been discussed in two threads:

In Minnesota, you may not have to worry about summer sun, but anyone who lives in a hot clime like the American Southwest who can't fit their truck in their garage might want to invest in a driveway carport to shield the vehicle from the sun (and summer heat) and hail. Here in San Antonio, we...
Here's the Inside EVs take on the shutdown. The article mentions the general downturn in public enthusiasm for EVs, too. It's a three-part article. The part on what VW is getting out of Rivian "zonal architecture" was interesting, too, as well as how it helps reduce miles of wiring in an EV...
Chalk me up as an October 28th adapter recipient, too. I had given up hope of receiving mine any time soon, and the last NACS thread I paid attention to weeks ago was the replacement thread. Didn't even notice this thread existed until today! If I'd paid attention to this thread instead of...
Read the 2nd line from the bottom on the adapter's label. This pic fragment stolen from Tom M's post on the previous thread page:
Starting at the 24, the 5 digits read "24149." 24 is the year of manufacture and it's a Julian date, so 149 is the number of days in the year from 1/1/24. But...
I was order number 24,402 (I ordered late on 2/29/24). I received my adapter today from Ford unannounced. My adapter was manufactured on August 3rd but only shipped this past Friday, October 25th. I haven't kept up with the whole thread here, but I wonder if the delay was caused by...
I have a 2023 Lighting Lariat ER with the Max Tow package. In city driving, I can get a full-charge guessometer range of 350 miles during an especially hot summer here in San Antonio. I have the standard 20-inch all-season tires inflated to 42 psi. I drive with cabin AC set to 80° F. I think...
We had a resident feral cat who lounged around and hunted in our yard. Now the beast has vamoosed as a pair of raccoons have taken up residence in the hollow tree by our garage. Raccoons are excellent mouse hunters, so I imagine the area around our garage entrance is relatively mouse-free. My...
I am iOS and since about the same time as @TaxmanHog, I've been getting a corrupted FCSP software version number for MONTHS. My post today snuck in just ahead of Mr. T's, probably just as he was finishing up his...
Mine sticks quite often on both left and right turns. To add insult to injury, in trying to coax it out of a stuck position, it often sticks in the opposite direction. Left stuck goes to right stuck and vice-versa. The Lightning has the worst turn signal behavior of any vehicle I've ever...
Interesting. In FordPass 5.7, the FCSP software version no longer shows under Energy tab, Charge Station, Settings, Details. Just the Charge Station ID and the Station Password now.
But if I launch the Charge Station Pro Setup app, I see the following (with my Station ID edited out):
(to get...
Got it. Required same trick of opening app description in App Store to get OPEN button to change to an UPDATE button (tap on app name.) Did not show up in list of app updates available.
@darknla, have you been through all the steps in the Delta BDI commissioning as described on Sunrun's field website? Other than a wiring/communication problem or not cutting power at the right point to test relative to the grid and Acrel meter, maybe there's a missing commissioning step:
(Ford)...
You can turn off all power to the HIS unit, including using the M Professional app to shut down the the Dark Start battery that powers the system when the grid goes out.
You're probably referring to the 3V battery in the upper right of the first picture included in the following post...
10.1.1 downloaded yesterday, 10/19/24, and installed overnight. I got the karaoke app after 10.1.0 installed on 10/08/24. IIRC, I only noticed it a few days after 10.1.0 installed, but then I was looking mostly on the Entertainment tab, and it showed up under the Apps tab?!
Sorry to butt in here, but I'm trying to learn something from the discussion. Does your electrician have a wiring diagram for your system? That might help you if someday he's no longer available to troubleshoot it. I'm pretty ignorant about electronics, but in the wiring diagram...
After a failed update bricked my truck in July. I've set my updates to manual to make sure my LVB has >80% SOC and the update is something that's working for other folks. And also I can be around and aware the update is taking place.
