When I bought mine it had that. They worked on it a day or so, replaced the latch and sensor after trying to adjust the bolt it latches on to. No good suggestion here 🤨
Very nice! My dog Hunter (should have named him Barker, that’s his only skill) loves the nice big flat floor area. He can see out the windows if he stands up, but he is usually standing right behind us with his head on the console or laying on my arm.
The connectivity is horrible. My FCSP would not see my WiFi, I went through the setup dozens of times while on the phone with Ford Charging support. Eventually they sent me a new FCSP, still had to go through the setup several times but it connected.
Instructions are wrong, not specifically...
I asked the dealer about this, they said they will see if the BCM is scheduled for my truck. But they won't do FORScan, they say that's aftermarket. So if they do the BCM I won't have the slider.
You should either put chains on the Rear, or on BOTH front and rear. This is something I learned when first driving a front-wheel drive car. If you put chains only on the front and then you put on the brakes your rear wheels will have little control and can easily cause you to spin around...
It's funny, I initially think "how could I drive around without a spare", but then thinking back to the last truck I had for 10+ years there was one time I went to lower the spare ... only to find that the mechanism had frozen up and I had to go to the dealer to get the tire out and pay for a...
I agree that it's what you get used to ... I used to drive a vanpool and got used to driving smoothly so I wouldn't wake up my co-workers at every stop light or exit ramp.
With 1PD you can easily adjust your foot to adjust your speed. Going down a hill you can go just the speed you want...
Then how do we frunk-gate if we have our electric hotdog cooker and stereo plugged in for a long time? Hmm, I guess I need to learn where that manual latch and fuse box are.
I just did a test of the Guess-o-Meter processing :) I always charge at home, but we were doing a trip to Mt Baker (NW Washington state), staying at a hotel nearby. Charged it up to 100% (of course I had to manually control this telling it when to start so that it would get to 99.999 just...
@StevenC56 Had already agreed to buy a 2021 BMW 530e from my brother when I got my Lightning (Buzz Lightning that is), so now I have a BEV and a PIH. I drive the Lightning because it cost less than driving the BMW :) Love it.
Curious with your winter driving are you using 1-pedal? I'm going from a 4wd Silverado with dedicated winter tires (and a sand bag on each wheel well) last year - to the Lighting. I'm going to get a set of winter tires, I already have spare rims (standard size). Any other suggestions for...
I haven't done it but as I understand the 'sticker', it's just to 'train' the truck about that particular trailer. Once you have 'trained' the truck it knows the dynamics of the trailer and can back it up without having the sticker on there anymore.
You still have to point the trailer in the...
I'm with you on this, why put the box EXACTLY WHERE THE CAR IS BEHIND YOU??? Let me hit "OK", or put the notice way on the top or bottom. I know when I have the window blocked that it's not a 100% replacement for the actual rear view out the window.
I hope FORD is listening to our comments...
