SoCal - bought my truck and took it to Autonation for the nearly exact problem- also had the ford social media guy on this forum engage the dealership
not covered - in fact I just got a lot of lip service and they never did get back to me
My understanding it costs thousands to replace this...
Dude - I’m stoked for you
I had @Ford helping but they didn’t have the authority to allow it.
it looks as if mine was denied. I am interested to know if they wrote yours up as defective material (which I think it is). They indicated for me that “something was picking at it”. I have pictures...
I park mine outside 100% outside too. Los Angeles concrete jungle so not a lot of animals climbing on the truck.
one side of my gasket (that is degraded) is very puffy and soft - almost spongy. The other side (drivers side) is much stiffer feeling. The stiffer side has a spot that is...
All-
TLDR- rear sunroof gasket failing. took into dealer and “they will get back to me”

ugh.
Also - Good luck charging on Oahu (if that is where you went). Unless you home charge - options are pretty horrific.
More 1772 slow chargers around the island considered to be EV friendly. If I recall, one EA spot and even very few Tesla chargers!
I had this happen now a second time (that I noticed). First time was after a DC fast charge, last night was after a Level 2 charge (very low rate ~3kW) but on charge for around 10 hours.
No fault code, front motor not operating as others have said.
after making a stop for a bit, returned to...
I had this happen to me yesterday - had the truck for around 1 week / 200 miles
DC fast charged 46-86% while at a quick lunch (wow it is fast!)
Stopped charge, unplugged, and headed home. 56% power was the max on the drive home
Back to normal when I left the house for dinner
