It is normal for the underside of the hood to not match. The paint is a three coat process. First a grey electrocoat then a primer and finally the top coat. The top coat is typically not sprayed onto all interior surfaces such as under the hood.

Most of Ford shuts down and goes on vacation the first two week of July. I don’t expect to see any movement until sometime next week. Hopefully the adapters have been piling up on their receiving dock so they have plenty to send out the last two weeks of July.

I got the same sequence on 6/19, 6/26 and 6/28. Hopefully this is the start of a long string of updates.

My guess is we won’t see anymore shipments until the later part of July. Ford shuts down all their plants the first two weeks of July. During this period they strongly encourage most of the central staff to take their vacations too. i hope I am wrong.
