The midgate on the Chevy is great and I am jealous of it; but the F150 frunk is better than the Chevy's. I think that is pretty equal. If you need to put a kayak, lumber, etc. on either you don't even need the midgate you can just buy a $70 extender. Can't make the frunks any larger.
Just officially pushed to January 2025. Order placed night of 3/2 so shows up as 3/3 order.
Again, I hate to complain about getting something nice for free, but this was not handled well by Ford and Tesla. I remember when they originally pushed it to January 2025 a few months ago and then...
Apologies for the silly question...I only have the ford mobile charger. I usually do not charge at home as I only have a regular outdoor outlet for level 1 charging. is there a way to plug in the vehicle but not charge, like to just keep the battery warm and in good shape but not draw a lot of...
March 2/3 order (ordered after hours 3/2 so it shows up as a 3/3 order) and my account is still stating it will be shipped December 2024. It will probably roll over to January 2025 tomorrow or January 2. I hate to be the guy that complains about getting something nice for free, but these delays...
It may not be the best look to complain about getting something for free; but Ford did not do a great job with this. I ordered my adapter 3/2 (after 5 p.m. so it says 3/3 order) and won't be getting it in December, so it will be January 2025 the earliest. Very lame of Ford to be say January...
I second this. I am on Long Island, so it is not nearly as cold here as it is by you, but I park my truck on the driveway and only plug into the regular outlet on very cold nights and it works for me. I don't plug in until 10 p.m. (super off peak) and unplug around 8 and get 25-30 miles per...
I think there needs to be separate threads for each type of "cold." Cold here on Long Island is not the same as cold elsewhere. Such a thread would be very helpful because people who live in much more moderate cold, like Long Island, may be scared away from buying an EV based upon threads about...
I just got pushed back to December as well. In hindsight, back a few months ago when they pushed the delivery to January 2025 seems to be very realistic. It is a shame they moved delivery up by months just to push it back again to save face.
Thank you! I am not a contractor but I work close to home. I mostly drive to work and the kids' school which is also very close to home. 95% of my driving is on local roads. But when I do hit the parkways or highways, I'll try to go as close to 60 mph as possible, both to avoid a ticket and get...
Hello! Long Island owner here. Have had the truck about 11 months and put about 12k miles on it. I am loving it so far. 23 Lightning Pro. Being on LI I do a lot of "city driving" and the speed limit on highways here is 55, so I've been getting excellent range. Averaging 2.8.
