I understand what California is trying to do, but they are effectively regulating interstate commerce by trying to strictly control emissions on diesel trucks, trains, refrigeration units in transit, and ships that carry international goods transiting CA ports to deliver to the rest of the...
There is nothing in the individual adapters that will tell Ford it wasn’t approved, so use whatever you’d like. I bought A2Z and it works fine.
If Ford wanted me to use their adapter they would have it available for sale on their site or included with my truck.
I see what you did there, but I’m talking about the douchebag youtuber who destroys nice stuff for clicks.
I love all the stuff Elon Musk is doing for the past couple years, that’s why we have a Tesla Y in the garage. Hard to argue with Chopsticks.
I would’ve entertained the Cybertruck for the same money. I like the aesthetics of the Lightning better, but Tesla has the best EV software and charging network. i really like everything Musk is doing for the past couple of years.
If I were buying again today with the same financials as when...
Is there a thread on the home link mirror? I wouldn’t mind adding that on my Flash.
Nevermind, I did a search:

I’m interested in this one from Enphase since I already have their hardware for my home solar. I don’t expect current vehicles to be compatible, so it won’t help me until we upgrade from our current Model Y and Lightning...
The A2Z adapters I bought came in little zippered cases. If they didn’t come with cases I’d still throw them in the same spot under the rear seat without concern. I wouldn’t want to add a bulkier case to store them.
If you have any aftermarket 12v accessories, like a dashcam with parking mode, the truck is seeing the unexpected 12v draw and giving this message. My 2022 Pro did it after I added a radar detector with the Dongar mirror plug, my 2024 did it this weekend after I added a dashcam and radar...
Looks close to what I got with X plan last month. I had $11K in incentives but my cap cost on a little more expensive truck was lower because of X plan.
I installed something similar on my 2024 Flash last week. I used a plug in harness from Diode Dynamics that allows for both backlighting and reverse function. I made some stainless steel brackets to bolt the lights on, no holes drilled in the truck. There is a newer light option from them...
There is a sheet of paper in my glove box saying that this vehicle is not designed to carry a bed mounted camper. I don’t know why the Lightning would be different than a standard F-150, unless there is something with the independent rear suspension that makes it unsuitable.
Agreed. Ford doesn’t have an adapter to sell me, so I’m using the A2Z for home charging and supercharging. The adapters have no electronics in them to narc me out, so I’m not worried about it.
