Probably a long shot but, if normal communication with the fob isn't possible perhaps the truck is not able to start because of that? Maybe try to start the truck with the fob in the slot beneath the cup holder?

It looks like both the NHTSA site and Ford account dashboard have now been updated to show if your vehicle has been recalled. My truck, with a 12/23 build date, has been. A fix is anticipated Q1 2025.

Don't the beta versions of FORScan allow for firmware updates? That's how the Pro and XLT trims are able to be retrofitted with passive entry and the light bar. In fact, adding passive entry updates the body control module itself to the XLT 312A firmware, I believe...

Note that I don't believe they "send" you the free license. After requesting it you are then instructed to refresh the confirmation page after about a half hour. Did you try that?

You may want to check out this thread on adding the light bar to Pro trims. There may be some adjustment of the light bar itself (not the hood) via the 5 M6 bolts.

This has definitely happened to me: twice in the last month. Unlocking via fob, vehicle was unresponsive. Finally unlocked as I got closer but took about 15 seconds (which felt like an eternity based on current expectations of technology).

If you haven't seen this thread you may want to check it out. Maybe it will help? It's probably not the install you're looking for but it seems like a nice clean approach to adding aux lights.

Can someone elaborate as to the required FORscan changes? Maybe I’m just missing them but I couldn’t find them in this thread nor on the site. I did find them elsewhere for the Gen14 ICE F150 but I assume those are not exactly applicable… thanks.
