My 23 Lariat has the same issue. It's been in the dealership for over 2 weeks now. They tell me a motor that controls the tailgate burn't out. Hope that's not your issue.

That sounds like BS. I never take our Mache or Lightning to the dealership I bought them from and have always been offered a free rental. Unfortunately, an ice vehicle, but at least they offered.

What is it when your lightning or Mache is in a dealership for warranty or recall work, and they need to provide you with a rental it isn't an electric vehicle. We invested in 2 ev's (lightning and Mache) and the dealership can only provide an ice vehicle. That is ridiculous in my opinion...

My Lariat is doing that and just dropping on its own. Truck in the shop now. Also got battery drainage warnings.

I have also learned this control unit may be bad MU5Z14B291U. When I take it to a dealer next week hopefully they will get to the bottom of it.

No matter what I do I can not lower the tailgate. All I hear is a beep when I press the button. It doesn't matter if I have my phone or fob. Is Anyone having this problem? I have a 23 Lariot ER.
