Some of these mods y'all do seems crazy to me, but to each his own. Lots of people on the Maverick forum hate the rotary shifter, and the 2025 MME dropped it for a steering stalk shifter. Just goes to show you that no matter what the design is, some people are not going to like it.

We plan on replacing my wife's 2017 Explorer Platinum with an MME in the next couple years.

If I was to do it all over again, I would have started looking at the Lightnings a year before I did this August/September. Probably would have purchased a 2023 Lariat instead of my 2024.

You actually could get a 2024 Lariat with Max Tow and Pro Power under $80K before destination charges as long as it didn't have any other options. That being said, there were hardly any on West coast optioned like that when I was shopping in September.
