  1. Throttle pedal sticky

I wanted to follow-up and say that the lubrication I applied to the pedal only temporarily relieves the issue. After a week or two, the stickiness returns. I have priced out replacement throttle sensors. I believe the part number for it is ML3Z-9F836-B -- Ford calls is a Pedal Travel Sensor...
  2. January Lease Deal $7,500 bonus cash

Thanks for the information. So the residual value (RV) defines what the leasing company thinks the vehicle will be worth at the end of the lease, assuming you don't go over the allotted miles and normal wear and tear. So, using your contract terms, it appears Ford Motor Credit thinks your...
  3. January Lease Deal $7,500 bonus cash

May I ask what the residual value percentage on this lease is?
  4. Ford Home Charger Install by QMERIT

Those with Chevy Bolts will know Qmerit well. Personally, I had no issue with how Qmerit handled the installation of the EVSE circuit for my Bolt. Others have had issues. Will be interesting to see how Qmerit handle's Ford EVSE installss.
  5. Throttle pedal sticky

That's similar to what I experienced, but I did not hear a sound. Instead, I could feel non-linear resistance at times. I believe this happens because there is some play on the pedal pivot axle and it can allow the side of the pedal bar to contact the inside of the channel where it moves...
  6. Throttle pedal sticky

I believe I found the problem. Over time, I think some dirt and debris collect around the pedal pivot point. If you look at the pedal, there is plastic on plastic contact. I used a liberal amount of silicone lubricant on and around the pivot point and the issue cleared up. Give it a try.
  7. Heated Steering Wheel Retrofit PU-22G06

I had this issue with Fordpass. I ultimately had to completely uninstall and reinstall Fordpass on my phone and go through the setup procedure. The option came back at that point.
  8. New tires with white letters out?

Here's a picture of my setup. Bridgestone Dueler Ascent in 265/70 on 18" wheels powder coated to match body paint.
  9. Almost time for new tires, what are you planning on getting after the stock tires wear out?

I just put a set of these on 18" wheels (265/70 standard load) and they are great! These have the outline white letters, which looks really awesome against the Carbonized Gray of the truck. As for the tires themselves, they are nearly as quiet as the stock Hankook Dynapro AT2s. However, the...
  10. How to force recirculation mode to stay on

For reference, here are the settings I am using:
  11. Help: Can't Decide - Tire Replacements

I recently swapped out my 20" wheels for factory F150 18" wheels after getting them powder-coated to match my truck's color (Carbonized Grey). They came out looking great! As for tires, I initially opted to put on Nokian Outpost nAT tires in 265/70/18 (standard load). I have to say they were...
  12. 2024 Flash - heat pump noise/vibration?

That is a generic Ford response. I don't bother responding to them.
  13. 2024 Flash - heat pump noise/vibration?

I don't have an update other than it still persists. I have a dealer appointment scheduled in early January and will ask them to take a look, but I suspect it will come back as "normal". I think I read a post on Reddit about someone else having the same issue, so apparently Ford NVH guys were...
  14. How to force recirculation mode to stay on

Well this worked on my 2023 XLT ER (12" screen) and works on my 2024 Flash (15" screen).
  15. How to force recirculation mode to stay on

There is a way to keep it in recirculation mode: Turn off auto mode and set temperature manually Manually select the front facing vents and/or the feet vents (do not select defrost vent -- this is the key!) Select recirculation mode The truck should keep it in recirculation mode and remember...
  16. Ford Station Pro and Ford Pass not limiting charge rate.

So it appears that FordPass still doesn't allow you to software-set the charge current. With the cold weather hitting, I wanted to slow the rate of charge from 10.4kw (I have a 2024 Flash, so limited to 48 amp max) down to about 4-5kw to allow it to charge slower overnight, keeping the battery...
  17. Upgraded to 285/65/20 KO3 tires + 2" inch leveling kit -- impressions and efficiency difference

You can use Forscan to adjust for the change in diameter to bring your speedometer back to an accurate reading. I just did this on my truck using the GPS-tuning method. The changed brought my indicated speed to within 0.1-0.2 MPH of what phone GPS read, which is better than the 1.5 MPH it was...
  18. Is this power reduction normal?

Great write-up! And it assuages any fears I had of an issue with my truck -- I will consider it normal. To be honest, it would be awesome if the truck had an "eco" mode where only the rear motor powered the truck or if turning off the front motor wasn't possible, then giving the truck like a...
  19. Winter is here! Heat pump comparison tests?

Theoretically, yes. However, during the hot months, the A/C didn't buzz like this so I am thinking it may be a separate system? I really don't know.
  20. Winter is here! Heat pump comparison tests?

What I can say is the heat pump is a bit noisy and has vibrations you can feel in the steering wheel and center console. Mildly annoying. I had a 2023 XLT ER and I can't say I am seeing much efficiency boost from the heat pump, if anything, right now. Perhaps when it gets colder here.
