Hasn't anyone heard of an arc flash? If the locking mechanism fails and the handle comes out without the release and stop charging switch being activated, it could cause an arc flash and possible burn or kill someone. This is just my .02¢

Not for me... I have purchased others as well but they are ALL made in China. I have been using a TeslaTap for years. IMHO, the product is far superior to any other ones out there and I am sure that their SuperTap is the same. For a few dollars more, I think it is worth the investment.

Looks like TeslaTap took all of the problems that A2Z had and fixed them before they released it. They replaced the plastic NACS lock with a metal latch so you cannot get an arc flash off of it. They replaced the CCS lock that was breaking with billet aluminum They added a different NACS slide...

I have had one since they were released at SEMA and it works great every time.

They will never give us an extension.. There is not even a real extension available yet.

Gen 1 will work fine, Just need a TeslaTap and the settings correctly set in the Wall Connector.

I just ordered a SuperTap from TeslaTap. Received it in just two days. I used it yesterday and it worked perfectly. They say that they upgraded the locking mechanism that was the main cause for the recall. I see that it has a new metal locking assembly on both the CCS and NACS connectors...
