  1. Trump order freezes funding for Illinois EV charging network

Absolutely. Iā€™m a bourbon šŸ„ƒ guy so Iā€™ll hit that, just doing my part to be a ying to the yang on here and remind everyone that EVā€™s should not be a partisan topic. I am proudly conservative and proudly drive an evā€¦ and if you want greater adoption you need to embrace the other 50% not alienate them
  2. Trump order freezes funding for Illinois EV charging network

Youā€™re right I am wrong, did we settle it? We good now?
  3. Trump order freezes funding for Illinois EV charging network

  4. Trump order freezes funding for Illinois EV charging network

Not permanent at all. Never said that, you will have your time again. Yay democracy
  5. Trump order freezes funding for Illinois EV charging network

Blaming the secratary of transportation for an airplane crash that took place within a few hours of him being sworn in makes me think otherwise
  6. Trump order freezes funding for Illinois EV charging network

Itā€™s gonna be a long hard 4 years (and probably more) for you fellas isnā€™t it.
  7. Is NEVI dead?

I could literally not care less if EV adoption rate is 1% or 99%. I want my taxes lower. But back to the point, why no finger pointing at the last regime for not operating this program with any level of efficiency?
  8. Is NEVI dead?

šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£The hilarity is the supporters of NEVI made nothing but excuses for how slow the rollout was instead of actually putting the last administrationā€™s feet to the fire to actually make progress. It was not hard to predict that if they lost the White House this would get dragged thru the mud and...
  9. Is NEVI dead?

Per site install costs would be much less, thats for sure
  10. DCFC precondition temp

Im familiar with the various data points on Carscanner, but since I've not had a throttled session I never really looked at the HVB Temp during a session. Also, since I dont DCFC much I have not had a lot of chances. Closest real data I have is a carscanner phone screen recording of my first...
  11. DCFC precondition temp

Great data. I have definitely charged in colder than 40F and not had that experience. Next I do I'll give it a try at trending it.
  12. DCFC precondition temp

I have monitored and every session I start and hold 170 to 179kw for 5 to 10 minutes. If that is throttled then sign me up!
  13. DCFC precondition temp

I have been led to believe that highway driving (at least in cold weather) would not increase battery temp in any matter. It would need to be city driving in which there is Regen occurring from time to time. That said, my personal experience is I have ~10 DCFC sessions in 15 to 40F temps...
  14. Farley says Hybrid and Range-extenders are the answer for trucks (except fleets)

I would imagine/hope a Range Extender would just be an option, similar to how Scout is approaching it. If you want simple BEV buy the the BEV, if you want EREV, buy that. Same truck, 2 versions. That said unless Ford wows me, I think Scout is the direction I'm going next. Rivian Software, Full...
  15. EV Charger Tax Credit/Rebate Woes ..... This Has GOT to be a joke!

This crap triggers me so much. If the lawmakers that made these laws in an effort to push EV adoption to help reduce purported negative impacts on the climate of ICE vehicles how do they square this crap? Seriously say it out loud and make it make sense! 1) You make too much money... so you...
  16. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake [PAUSED]

Odd complete opposite experience for me, I have ~always maxed between 170-179 for ~10 minutes & have always held in the 140-150 range in my 2022. That said, my DCFC is fairly minimal maybe 10 sessions overall and never for more than 25 minutes.
  17. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake [PAUSED]

The 24's have manual precondition of battery? That's first I've heard that if Im understanding your statement correctly.
  18. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake [PAUSED]

Staff isn't elected, but I agree, I'll stop. Just could not let it go without retort. FYI... both sides of the 50/50 split exist on this forum. Should not be treated like an echo chamber
  19. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake [PAUSED]

That would be a great point, if not it being fairly obvious 46 was not exactly running the show during the last 4 years
  20. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake [PAUSED]

Rick, you have way more DCFC experience than I do but am I correct in my belief that the trucks seemingly used to peak between 170 & 179?
