I'm quite jealous of these trips. I'm itching to take a multiday journey but I have the typical excuse of limited time off work and wife has other ideas. Hope the recovery goes well.
Our XC90 is no slouch, there are good option available. They aren't on the same level as a good EV, but they don't feel like they are lacking for someone accustomed to a gas car.
Let's be fair and also point out that China spends significantly more money subsidizing their EV and battery sector than basically the rest of the world combined. It also looks like that strategy will pay off for them, since no one else is willing to do the same.

I was simply taking advantage of the opportunity to express what would benefit me the most (and I'd like to think others, not just myself). I'm not against additional providers being included, but region specific providers have limited impact. Figuring out how to implement their original intent...
You are only partially correct. Perhaps you meant to say that no one was ever charged? That would also be incorrect. There was an initial roll out for $50/year that was supposed to give us the same discount as we would have gotten with Pass+ at EA. They stopped when they couldn't get the...
I had it done and ended up with the tiny 360 view. I changed it back with FORScan and just lived with the menu button to get to the camera views. When I updated to 6.14, it seems that applied/configured whatever the tech didn't as I now have the correct button layout. Don't know if it was a...
The biggest problem with advertised range is that it isn't applicable to freeway travel. Would be similar to advertised range for an ICE based on freeway numbers, but you only drive in a busy city. You aren't going to come close to the range. But you don't care, cuz there are gas stations every...
Lucky number Fuse 13 in the passenger side fuse box. Careful, several people have accidentally dropped it and it was eaten up by a hole nearby. I think there's a spare but I forget the number. This resolved it for me. Only had it once in 2 years thus far.
I think it is more of a lack of understanding on user interfaces. Ford has mastered (mostly) the layout and features of what truck buyers want. But they (and most automakers) struggle greatly to understand what makes a good, intuitive SW user interface. It's like it was designed by hardware...
There was a fee initially when it rolled out. However, they were not able to integrate the discounts so they put a puase on the fee. Take a look at the FordPass app.
Notice that it says "buy"? That is my working assumption until I see otherwise.
You can search past tax discussions here. I don't recall anyone claiming the the tax credit for the bundled charging station. Sorry and good luck if you choose to pursue it.
That's why I said plug N charge through BlueOval. I have had BlueOval activate due to EA's cloud being super slow. To avoid the hassle of cancelling and restarting I leave it off and only toggle on when I absolutely need it. In my area, BlueOval just isn't worth it. My options are Tesla and EA...
You'll see the temp meter for the battery move to the right over the summer. For the most part, it's not a big deal. I haven't noticed any degradation to my range yet (beyond the additional energy used to crank the A/C). But I do keep an eye on it when I know I need to DCFC. Tow/Hual mode takes...
Brian, not AI, from Ford...that's great and all but I rarely opt to use plug N charge through BlueOval because I want my discount. Are you working on a way to apply discounts through your network? I wouldn't mind subscribing to BlueOval for a month to get plug N charge WITH the associated...
