You're not the only one. Recall seeing a handful in this thread that had the voltage get too low and the update crap out (some using the 2320 linked in the OP). I had ordered two since there were reports of people having success with piggy backing them but got cold feet and sent them back...
Don't disagree with you there. Think this thread mostly is a carry over from the ice f150. The clore pl2320 is recommended in the op but that's only 20 amps and not going to cut it when the updates are pulling 50-60 amps for 2hrs+ sometimes. The put a much smaller 12v in the Lightning so that's...
Noco may be good for trickle charging the 12v but you need some serious power for these updates. Clore pl6100, powermax pmbc-75 ( or 100 amp) or Schumacher inc100. Dont bother with anything else.
Well guess the trick is to hit the lock button followed by the remote start button twice. After starting, this is what I see in the app so it seems to take whatever settings you have set in the app. Repeating the process while running is supposed to extend the time but didn't see the ford pass...
Finally got mine. Took about 2 weeks. First attempt failed but took off the cover and the battery wasn't seated. Programmed successfully the next try. Lock, unlock and the tailgate works fine but remote start doesn't do anything. Wonder if something is different with the 23's.
Wolfbox G900 Pro. It just attaches over your existing mirror and provides front/rear dash cams. Main downsides I've found are that it blocks the sensor on the oem mirror so the drivers mirror doesn't dim at night and there's some reflection on the mirror. Ordered a mat screen protector but won't...
Well got one of the adapters to fool the truck into thinking I'm towing a trailer to enable the turn signal camera. Gif shows the 50/50 view and then the right turn signal.
After plugging in, it detects a trailer and you'll see a message that says blind spot and cross traffic disabled. I set it...
You are referring to regular hands-on adaptive cruise with lane assist. The wheel isn't capacitive and uses a torque sensor which requires you to physically move the wheel or provide a decent bit of resistance.
yup. Will be glad when I'm back to my FCSP. In hindsight, I could've held off on that little bit of extra charge since I didn't need to go as far as I thought but was interesting to see just how much energy it goes to warming things up. Guess my truck needs a heated blanket.
On the bright side, Blue Cruise seems to be better than Lucid's ADAS that will try to kill you. No excuse for being that awful on pre-mapped highways in something that expensive. For anyone bored, here's a run of Tesla v Ford v Lucid.
Tesla Model 3 13.2.2.1
2022 F150 Lightning with BC 1.0...
Well I just realized how inefficient charging on level 1 in moderate cold can be. Going from 76-88% took 20 hours and used almost 30kWh according to the outlet monitor while Ford Pass only showed 15kWh. Temp was in the 30's last night but it sat unplugged for a couple days so battery was...
You already have 1.2 on the Flash so I don't suspect 1.4 will be worth the money if 1.2 isn't. The only thing it adds is "improved" stability and the useless curve control that I had to disable in FORScan. 1.5 will bring Automatic Lane Changes but it may be 2030 before that rolls out. Until it...
I love the ride and room but range and charging are the big negatives. It's basically at the bottom of Out Of Specs's 10% challenge (distance available after 15min of charging) and finished several hours behind the Silverado, Cybertruck and R1T in a cross country trip. Then again most aren't...
Ford isn't doing themselves any favors when it comes to convincing people to splurge. Slow as molasses updates that only bring moderate improvements and, as noted, it's only usable on controlled access divided highways so you're pretty much limited to interstates. Besides the Lightning isn't...
ha that's where mine usually defaults. Sometimes it auto adjusts and other times I have to scroll. Seems a little slow today but appears to be working.
