I only really use ChargePoint as the chargers in my work parking garage are CP. Impossible to use Plug and Charge as the cable will not unlock from the until you give it authentication on the unit. But they support NFC if you have the CP app so I just hold my phone up to it. Most of the time...
There is a difference between stopping just stopped and giving it enough brake pressure so the little hand liiuminates in the gauge cluster. My 2024 creeps forward very easily and with light pressure on the go pedal. If the hand is illuminated then it takes a little more go pedal to make it go...
Ours showed up today. No email, or maybe my email filter ate the email. No matter, just glad it's here. Have a trip out of town next weekend that was originally supposed to be this weekend and it's perfect timing to give us more options for the drive.
#118713 ordered 6/25/24.
Exactly, there is zero confusion involved, at least with an experienced driver. You hit the brake pedal if you need more. If it's a panic stop, immediately hit the brake hard.
Maybe with a new driver this would be a thing and they needed to drive it normally for a while to figure that if they...
Every vehicle with a conventional torque converter automatic built in the last 75 years creeps forward, it's not unique to pickups. It's just what you're used to.
In general, people don't like change. They don't like getting used to something new. Worked in corporate tech for 30 years and...
I would consider a CT for the right price. But they are not anywhere near being at the right price, and the million+ reservations that evaporated are proof of that.
Musk 2018/19: It's gonna start at $39,999!
Yeah right. Not close, even if you adjust for inflation since launch.
Greentec has a network of shops in areas where EVs are popular and do offer battery and module replacements for both EVs and hybrids. There is one in my area. https://www.greentecauto.com/locations
Their website does not say anything about the Lightning or Mach-E though, maybe too new to...
You misinterpreted the post you responded to, this was about climate control and battery preconditioning at a set departure time. Yes when the truck is plugged in (although you can set climate off plug if desired). But it's assumed you were already plugged in and charging, or at the charge...
Can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but I have used my workspace to do work with my laptop while charging, it's useful for me. It wouldn't be a dealbreaker not to have it, but I prefer to have it.
Truck doesn't fit in my standard sized garage so when my wife is away at work sometimes...
This is for our Mach-E btw, but would be used with the Lightning. I'm not getting a free one for the Lightning so if I needed a 2nd I would order something else.

I've had much worse issues with other OEMs, that is the problem for me with saying things like this.
I also owned a 5.4 3V, so there is that as well. Pretty reliable so long as you give it a full timing job every 100K or so.
