What sensor are you reading on the ODB to see battery conditioning ? I've driven exclusively in Sport mode in both my 2022 & 2023 LER and only notice HVB coolent inlet temperature rise when get close to a DCFC in Navigation screen. Normally driving around, HVB coolent inlet temp is close to...
The current Public Charging app seems to only find chargers within 50 or so miles, so I've been saving them as Fav's in the navigation screen. I noticed on last trip that Google is recognizing chargers now and Google has always been more useful.
For the moment at least, tax law can't be changed without Congressional action. I'm contemplating adding to my existing solar installation, not concerned a bit.
Sounds like income to the dealer to me. He'll get check/ACH from IRS. Tax credit's for individuals aren't income, just manna from the tax gods. Retired CPA
LER Lightning trips between DFW and Kerrville Tx cost $30 one way, 310 miles. Fill up 100% at ranch/home for $12 and typically 10 minute, $18 stop at Tesla SC's for just enuf to get to other end. One trip in our new Mach-e was $20 dollars with a 4-5 minute, $5 stop at Tesla SC's. This is...
Lots of hotels have destination chargers and the J1772 can get you a full charge overnight, often on the hotel's dime. Have taken advantage of that on several occasions with multi-night stays and sightseeing trips in the area - already paid for itself 2 times over !!
Substitute "government" for Lawyers and I'm with you. It worked for a brief wonderful period and then it went away. If the problem is inadvertently leaving it in Off-Road, fine, but don't see any safety need for the other modes. Recently got a 2024 Mach-e and shocked that it stays in whatever...
Even with the HVAC in Non-Auto mode, it has a mind of it's own - Recirculate turns off by itself and AC comes on randomly - both my 2022 & 2023 LER's. Never had a vehicle in Manual mode change settings on it's own. Strangest thing about the otherwise fine truck. We just acquired a 2024...
The GOM is just another % "fuel" gauge - miles to empty, believe it, but don't blindly, mindlessly rely on it as you drive the "fuel" off. Treat it just like the fuel gauge on any vehicle. As Reagan famously said "Trust but Verify"
I too smacked a deer in my 2023 LER @ 55mph. Took out A/C and confused front sensors, but otherwise drivable. Coming out of body shop at end of the week hopefully. $13.5k damages, including the front plate, which looks undamaged here but all the supports on the back were snapped.
