Thanks for reading up more on this relay/fuse block. I haven't been able to install it yet, just had to take my truck in to have a powertrain fault fixed again. If I'm reading into the reviews correctly, they're saying that the switches are activated by the 12V accessory right? But yes, I...
Just had to drop my truck off for the second time now with this issue, confirmed to again be a battery module failure and an estimated two weeks for a new one to arrive. Pretty bummed that I was right about it being a battery issue again.
Regarding lemon laws, does it backdate to the first time...
On the regular F-150 forum a member figured it out here, it appears that we have a similar setup with the DRL's also functioning as turn signals. I tried these values in Forscan but didn't have any success.
Are these not the DRL's? I would think there's some way to have them activate amber when on, but someone who is more versed in Forscan might be able to figure it out.
I was looking into using one of these fuse/relay blocks with ACC control to control the switches. I want them to be able to be left in the on position, but only get power when the vehicle is started. The block has positive and negative connections for all 6 switches, if I were to ground the...
Thanks! I’ve been struggling to figure out what gauge wire the pigtails from the connector are. It’s part number EU2Z-14S411-SA, but there’s not great information on it anywhere online.
I’ve only ever seen people go the firewall grommet on the driver’s side in videos, so admittedly I haven’t even looked to see if there’s also one on the passenger side. That’s the only reason for that.
But thanks for the different ideas to connect the wiring! I haven’t gotten around to figuring...
I planned on running the switch wiring down the driver side A-pillar, so there really isn’t much difference than including it with the cable bundle in through the firewall right?
For connecting to pins 6 and 2 in connector C930, how should that be done? Haven’t done much wiring since high...
This would be connecting pins 6 and 11 from C9120 to pins 6 and 2 from C930 correct? What about pins 1/9 from C9120? Still just into the frunk area with the switch cables and connect to a spare fuse in the fuse box in the frunk?
Okay, I think we’re on the same page, just got sidetracked by the comment about you helping with ambient lighting.
I originally had planned the illumination cable to tie into another already present illumination cable in the overhead console. That’s illustrated on page 3 of the PDF, I changed...
Well yes 1/9 but also 11 after what you've said about them not dimming with the interior lighting. If they don't dim doesn't pin 11 just need switched 12v power too? Or did I misunderstand something?
Would it just need 12v from any switched power source then? Meaning any fuse in the box would be okay? Being powered in conjunction with the other 12v power wires from pins 1 and 9?
With this information from you this is what I've updated my planned wiring to. Please let me know if you see any issues with how it's currently set up! I had the illumination and ground connected in other locations, you'll be able to see that still in the mockup.
