Can confirm we got the free FCSP and $2,000 discount for doing the installation ourselves. (Which cost us $1930.)
On a semi-related note, ordered the adapter on the 11th with an expected ship date of the 14th, and got a FedEx alert last night that a package from Dearborn will be delivered...
Since they promised it, I would go back to them and hold them to it, and have them source a free NACS adapter for you through their parts dept.
As for the home charger, for us that was something the dealer initiated, and we got an email survey we had to fill out to order it. So you'll have to...
Yep, I just got that email as well. Despite me ordering it two days ago when they actually became available. The notify me isn't very timely (unless they specifically held that back to allow people on forums like this to order them first before opening up to the masses and running out of stock...
It's shift by wire. No actual physical shift (even with the huge stick shift we have now).
It gets electronically recorded in the truck what position it's in, and the feedback from the truck indicates which gear it's in (that's how the stick physically moves from D to P if you turn the truck off...
WAL works, but no toggles. So I assume they updated the system before delivery, but we don't have it officially.
Truck just locked as I got back inside the house.
I couldn't find the current promo code and was just about to ask you about this until I saw the little top banner on the ford.com checkout page... REDEEM325 for anyone else looking for this.
EDIT: @Whammy Bar posted about 20% code below. SHOP325
I signed up for alerts to be notified when this finally became available on the ford.com website. And I read it here first (no email from ford.com yet). Will be putting an order in today before those emails do go out and they're out of stock again.
I used this thread: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/home-assistant-ford-f150-lightning-dashboard.17424/ (Thanks @Aminorjourney) and created this:
I haven't added the individual windows yet. Since the sensor is open/close, and the attribute data only shows 2 windows, and I am...
Not since I configured it in November. Update frequency is set to 900 seconds (15 minutes). So that likely helps.
And I have a button to do a manual update when I want it. As long as I use that sparingly, I'm hoping I'll be ok.
Plus I use a different account for HA than on my phone. Just to...
The Fordpass api has so much more info that's not visible in the phone apps. Using the Home Assistant integration, it shows if the doors are locked or unlocked. If doors (and frunk/tailgate) are open/closed, and even if the (front) windows are open.
(On top of a ton of other data, like battery...
Wait.. That link says basically all Lightnings just have BC 1.0, except for 2024 and newer have 1.2, and none of them have been updated since release? (As opposed to the MME's which have been getting updates)
Thanks for the heads up. Just registered as well. Hoping the Western Mass location helps in being selected. I have been looking at the Home Integration System, but cost has been a slight deterrent.
I'm the commuter, so the Lightning is my wife's. (She also had the ICE F150 and traded it in for the Lightning)
Having said that, I do occasionally wish I could swap with her. It drives like a car and is spiffy as hell.
But it's just too expensive to drive.
Would (could) the cracking and popping noises be bad? Could they impact safety (limit turning, or anything else?)
I don't have anything to put the truck up on so I can look underneath, and I have no idea what moving elements are in those two areas.
Can confirm they are adding more VINs. I just checked again today (on the web), and where last week it was just showing the paid subscriptions, I now have the $0 12 month plan.
So if you previously did not have it, check back!
Is anyone else experiencing excessive ice buildup underneath the truck between the front wheels?
It's so bad that the truck is making noises when we try to make turns. This is mostly road slush that gets kicked up and gets stuck underneath the truck and then freezes into a solid mass.
Left side...
