Well took mine in for the fourth time for same fault… they finally called today and said they found issue and have to replace electrical item under frunk that regulates power to the high voltage batteries. Major job so they say…

Took my truck in to get heat system checked/replaced in the cab. Was given a loaner. The Sync in the loner is so much more advanced than my truck? Asked if they could look and see if there are any updates they can push via wire. They said most likely no?? You think all would run off one system...

Update: dealer had the truck for three days, no 4x4 fault, ended up being the said heater assembly needing replaced, low coolant and AC fluid. Ordered part and awaiting replaced. Think a smart car would be able to track down the fault, instead of tech having to test each component individually...

I don’t chance it, drove my Model 3 LR 152 miles. With hills and north wind, had 8 miles left out of the 300 computer estimates from start to arrival. Again, don’t even want to chance the computer on the Lightning standard battery pack. LOL.

Brobably the most delicate used mechanic piece of the Lighting, think they would have made it more durable. Almost like the silly rivot in the Cybertruck pedal?!
