Apple Maps EV routing will just work. Update your iPhone, in the Apple Maps app settings select your profile and add your car and select your charging network to Tesla Supercharger ( you might get an adapter from Amazon for the conversion, unless your dealer gave you one).
You might have some...
Would be great if that happened. Would love to have IoS versions of Google Maps or Apple Maps fully integrated with all features using CarPlay. Iām a long time Waze user would also like all those features there as well .
Android auto feature , IOS doesnāt support it.
CarPlay users canāt get preconditioning outside of the Ford Nav unfortunately, unless thatās changed.
To add preconditioning Ford would have to really trust Apple Maps software, and basically give up on the main feature benefit of their own in car navigation. Unlikely IMHO.
Says preferred network not available when I try to route. Only added Tesla supercharger network. Seems a fail. Connected via CarPlay. Updated to IOS 18.4 Beta 2. Refused to use any Tesla Superchargers. Iām sticking with ABRPā¦
In the main Charge menu item in the car add location
There should be a list of locations where youāve charged. You can set home charge preference to 80%
In the Nav settings lower the min charge to arrive at destination to 10%. Try add charging station . If you have charged at home it should show as a location.
Just for fun I topped off the 2023 Platinum to 100 %. Range estimate is 324 Miles. It seems either the charging is allowing more usage of the gross capacity or the estimate is off. Usually get about 2.1 Miles / KWH.
I got my 2023 platinum used with 12K miles for 66 K ( in Cali). I love the premium sound and the overall looks. I added AWE topper. Sounds like your deal is quite reasonable.
