I also had mine just installed. Worked great the first few days and then it wouldn’t charge any higher that 3.2 as well. I pulled the cover off and unscrewed the main cover and hit the reset button and it has been working just fine ever since.
I love popping the frunk and seeing people’s reaction to it. When I bought the truck had to drive to Raleigh because none of the local dealers where willing to work a deal, so my wife and I drove up and made a weekend out of it. Got to the hotel after finishing signing it and I popped the frunk...
Glad it got fixed so quick! I bet step number 1 on your list is having to drop the entire battery. Which would explain the labor costs. It will be interesting to see what kind of 3rd party repair shops open up as EVs become more mainstream and how the prices will compare to dealership.
Can’t leave us hanging! I would love to do this to mine. Originally thought about swapping the tailgate out until someone on here I think, mentioned the taillights are different for the XLT/Flash and the Lariat/Platinum.
I use mine all the time. I honestly expected when I bought the truck last year the frunk would be novelty trick for a few months than I’d forget about it. I haven’t, I use it 90% of the time. The only time I don’t use it is for a single bag then I just toss it in the backseat, but that is what I...
I think with all we have seen coming from Ford in regards to removing features every year and some of the talk about hybrids and pushing back the T3, I think the Lighting is a one generation and done model. I think Ford is slowly walking away from EVs. When it comes time to replace the Lighting...
That’s crazy. That was my first time using an adapter and wanted to make sure. That sucks hopefully you can get it fixed. I did notice it was a tight fit.
I just tested mine out on Friday and it worked completely fine. I plugged the Tesla plug into the adapter and gave it a quick tug before I plugged it into the truck no problem at all. I just received it on Monday.
Thanks, that looks great. I am really looking for a stand because the electric meter and the transfer panels for my generator are mounted on the wall right where I would like to put it (of course).
So I am finally getting around to having my FCSP installed. Because my garage is too small for the Lighting to fit, I have to have it mounted outside. Most likely it will need to be mounted on a post because of other stuff that is mounted on the side of the house. Besides a wooden post does...
Where did you see they removed the folding shifter and workbench? I can see removing workbench and making it an option, but I can’t see them removing the folding shifter because that is standard in the ICE F-150s, unless they removed it from them too. Just curious.
I think if there had not been such a massive push to call them green vehicles and eco-friendly and instead just sold it as another powertrain option like gas or diesel then there may be more acceptance. I get thrown back in my seat faster and chirp the tires easier than I do in my Mustang. It’s...
I love my lighting but I may have to put a reservation in. May actually put two in one for me and one for the wife. She actually likes the look of the Traveler.
I’m not sure. I haven’t installed it on mine yet. It looks like from the install video you have to raise the lower seat up and then use the closed end of a wrench to grab the release.
