I am a fan of any technology that makes the dangerous act of driving multi-ton metal boxes of death safer for all involved. I don't believe they should be "extra features" and should be standard in every vehicle ever made. Paying more is just our rotten market-driven obsession to further divide...

Yeah, this system is unfortunately building a reputation of rather than "intelligent" backup power, it's more of "often decent amount of manual intervention, troubleshooting, and pray" backup power. Sigh
