Regardless of politics, the vilification of EV’s is just plain caveman brain. The incentives were pretty well thought out. When a model gets to a certain production number, the incentive decreases or disappears. To my way of thinking, this was an excellent adaption strategy.

I do not feel betrayed by this. My purchase was based on product features and overall long term cost. I think the EV incentive is a good plan but as not a deciding factor for me. Plus, our adapter for the wife’s Mach-e just showed up today. Thanks Ford.
I do not use climate as a reason for others to buy an EV. Personally, it gives me a little peace but to you, whatever works. EV is just a better vehicle. I can use a timing gun and have help rebuild a few small blocks. The nostalgia of straight pipes and a four barrel Holley was awesome but...
All this being said, we will never not need fossil fuels. Let‘s just use them in the most efficient way possible. Generating electricity and other things with fossil fuels makes sense. Using petroleum for automobiles is not efficient. This has always seemed like a sensible discussion...
