I regularly tow a boat, but only once towed a dump trailer with river rock. The haul was smooth and seemingly effortless. It was like nothing was back there. I only had a 40 mile trek out to the quarry empty and 40 miles back so range was no issue at all. Highly recommend for short to medium...
Yes, I agree. This vehicle is great for towing. Whether it be my boat or a dump trailer full of river rock it makes no difference, this thing pulls like a beast.
I was kind of lazy. I kept trying to figure it out while I was driving, reaching in the glove box, the center console, under the seats, checking the dash while driving, etc. The sound always seemed like it was coming from closer to me than all the way across the cab. Then after almost giving...
Yes, three times in 46,000 miles. Each time I pulled over. I had to do more than just turn off truck off and on. What I found works is pull off road, turn off truck, get out, lock truck then unlock, get in and start up truck. If I left out any of these it would not return to both motors...
Would do it all over again. This truck is so much better and tons more fun than my ICE truck. Will never buy another ICE truck again and likely will sell the one I have; just don't use it anymore.
This looks staged. Truck in the middle of nowhere, guys in fire suits videotaping, looks like a Pro model but there is so much smoke from the rear you cannot identify the Lightning tail lights. The audio ID's it before he passes in front of it as a battery operated truck and before he sees the...
Yup, I kept my gas truck just in case. Needless to say it rarely ever gets driven except when a friend or family member needs to borrow a truck. I’m sure not gonna lend them my Lightning. 😂
Maybe I missed it because the rant was so long but is there any correlation to which smartphone people are using. I have an Apple 12 and don’t have any of the issues other than simple things like there is no one time precondition setting. My Apple Car Play works perfectly too. Is it the non...
I have had four flats in two years. AAA’s service provider’s jack worked fine. The other three I did myself in under 20 min with the included Ford jack. I did use better chocks on the other wheels. One was on a hunting trip on frozen ground. I had to dig a flat spot for it but it worked...
Up here in the Pacific Northwest, where Tesla Y’s are more common than Toyota Corolla I am not seen a problem with congestion at the Tesla superchargers when charging my lightning on 2 Recent Rd. trips. Day before yesterday I was coming back from Eastern Washington, and at one Tesla supercharger...
Just about to turn 40,000 on my 22 Lariet ER. Paid MSRP minus the 7,500 rebate and would do it again. I am nearly 70 and have owned too many trucks and cars to recall. This is the best of all of them by far for my needs. I retired, then unretired due to boredom (not lack of money) I am a...
Had this happen randomly three times. What I found works is stop the truck, turn it off. Get out, close the door, lock it. unlock it, get in and like magic it is back. One of the three times I had to do it twice. Need to lock the doors though.
