Again, not a Tesla. The F150 like most modern vehicles has like 29 different interconnected electronic modules that are purpose built industrial devices to do certain specific functions. Every module has its own software. Adding the ability to record video to a flashdrive is not happening...
Put 120 miles on BC1.4 today for the first time. Love the improvement and so far nothing appears to be a regression or worse. My commute is significantly improved by this update! I just got the parking sensor CSP done at the dealer Monday. Activated 1.4 with Forscan. Haven't gotten the OTA...
Yeah I don't even have legit concern requiring the TSB 😛. Sync and Android Auto work seemingly fine for me. But if it gets me the BCM, I'm willing to exaggerate one time it failed to connect 8 months ago.
I used to think the HVAC in my 2003 Ford Ranger was overly complicated and lacked the level of manual controls I wanted. In hindsight it was quite primitive.
Going in for the parking sensor CSP 24B56, upper control arm recall, and 30K service. Also asked them to install the BCM update while they're at it. If all goes well, I should be able to enable BC1.4 and walk away lock in Forscan.
Could someone look up xxxx in FDRS to see what is currently on...
Yes. The thing was clearly a rushed product with minimal testing to identify the many problems with itself and the HIS integration. My first one was DOA and needed to be replaced, which took two weeks of arguing with Ford. So not surprising you are having that issue. IDK if it is widespread...
Everything everyone is saying as hard and fast are simply not true. Once the weather is cold, manual control of the AC compressor and fresh/recirc is virtually non-existent. The indicator lights are lying to you. The indicator light just shows what you selected. Not what it is actually doing...
