Your post is a big help. I forgot about the tail light problem and I doubt OTA updates would come to mind. I do want to ask about the state of the battery.
Plus, I'm always curious why someone spends that much on a vehicle, only to dump it a few months later.
Hopefully, there is still some room...
I have a couple of dealers looking for a new '24 or '25 Flash or Lariat. In the process, I ran across a '23 Platinum CPO with 7k miles on the clock and they asking just shy of $62k. It has the 9.6kWh and tow tech pkg.
There are only a couple of things I like on the Lariat vs the Flash. I'm...
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm getting close to pulling the trigger and had read on here about some dealers (nationally) not having a very good rep when dealing with the Lightning, as in the techs aren't really that familiar with it.
I was just wondering if any Sacramento dealer has a...
What are you paying for registration?
I was watching a review on the lightning and the guy said due to the weight of the vehicle, he is paying $1000 to register it. Does that sound right? Seems a tad steep to me, even for California.
Or is that an additional tax to make up for lost gas tax income?
A lot of good points, thanks.
I'm going to take a look at '24 Lariat on Wednesday. With all their discounts they have it listed at 68k. No bed liner, though.
Not pulling the trigger just yet, but I wonder if there is a little more wiggle room.
I've been hemming and hawing about buying a Lightning for a while now and was wondering A) how the tariffs will affect Ford, in general and B) cause dealers to markup prices on their current inventory, even though they have been sitting on the lot for a long time?
Or am I just overthinking this...
Well, I finally had a chance to load up my sister-in-law's F150 short bed with all my stuff. From a square footage basis, the beds are similar in size. I do lose a few inches with the wheel wells intruding with the Ford.
Long story short, I'm going to keep the Ridgeline and just add the hitch...
I think of one the things that is holding me back is the bed. If the bed doesn't hold that much more than the Ridgeline, even with the frunk, I'm not sure it's worth it.
You gain a little in the frunk, but lose a bit with the wheel wells intruding into the bed.
There's a couple of other things...
Yup, the Flash has just about everything I'd want, except for the sliding rear window. Having a short bed now, the slider has come in handy many times.
