Seems like the case,
and yet looking at my own use, most of the time, I only charge at home overnight.
Public chargers are mostly about travelling farther than the range of the vehicle. Then you look at two options: fast charging so you can get going again after a snack or destination overnight...
IF they can hit that price point, I say it is a good addition to the options for people, I like it as a hobbie-farm mini-truck in a milder climate than I see...kinda follows the same line of thinking as the scout. We need some more affordable model EV's
and not everyone need 400 mile range in...
up here we have Canadian Tire and lots of these stores have Tesla or Flo chargers already.
In Winnipeg there is a Tesla Super charger near to Earle's - a nice resturant to stop and eat at.
I hope this trend continues to grow - more charging options is more-better.
I would like to see them build...
it makes sense for any establishment that wants a 20-40 minute shopper - I have a local to me Walmart with 6 Tesla chargers on the edge of the lot (convenience station) in Dryden. It can be a good place to charge, pick up a few things for a trip and get going.
AH - the no Tampering prohibition, ...so, we leave the factory sound alone...and just ADD our own sound separate sound system to drown it out !!
Maybe make it sound like "Uncle Buck's car"... ok too scary. I miss John.
Uncle Buck
My first Ford was a '77 Mercury Monarch two door witht the faux half "Landau" fabric roof.
With the hood up I could sit on the rad and work on the carborator of that small block 302 Windsor V8. Compared with the "big cars" it was considered a 'two door coup" even at 190" in it's time. LOL.
The...
3-EV's and they still use way less power than the Cooling loads, are these heat pump systems for cooling?
Our ducted Heat pump does 3-season heating and cooling using a lot less energy than on EV.
local "ultra-low-overnight" rate here is just 2.8cents per kWh - plus fixed fees and some...
I like the all-seaon hwy tires the truck came with for spring-summer-fall use. And the truck range estimate is spot-on with the factory tires/rims it seems.
For next Winter I want a set of Bridgstone Blizzak v2 on their own rims. I think I will stick with the factory 275-60-R20
Just have to...
I like the built in back-up warning beeper,
Normally I have to add a backup beeper to a truck - for my work - but this truck already had it. one less thing !
This guy noted the same thing, a rattle but only in certain temperatures - he found it was the snap clips that hold the in-side door skin to the door...see at 6:39 he shows you the location of the rattle in his Lightning - which was the DS door, but the same issue could be any door.
Then he...
