On one hand I’m glad you were able to get it rolled back up but on the other this is not good. I may have to carry my rig of the cables and wrench in my truck in case it happens again. I take my truck in next week to get serviced we’ll see what they officially diagnose.

So I had to redo all the steps to make the window go back up since it rolled itself down as soon as I stated the truck. However, this time I disconnected the motor so it won’t do that again. Here’s some pics.

Update - I remote started the truck because it’s hot outside and all was good until I started the truck and the window rolled down again on its own. Someone here advised to just make it a habit to back in every time. That’s what I’ve been doing. Except my wife, she is not confident to back in so there are times where I still have to pull the truck out and back it in to charge but it has been a lot less.

They did a great job repainting. I can’t tell the difference at all. But I also had it wrapped in PPF and ceramic coated so I think that helped. It’s unfortunate that this happened to you as well and it bummed me out at the time but it’s all good now. Best of luck

I had the fenders repainted. It was covered by the warranty. I waited well over a month then had the fenders wrapped in PPF and ceramic coated like the rest of the truck. No issues with the paint since then and was surprised that I could not tell from just looking they were painted separately.
