I have only used PAAK for 2.5 years / 50k miles. Only had to use passcode 2x due to unknown issue. With new iphone 16 (about 3 weeks) I have not had even a minor glitch.
Only real problem I have had was going to service appointment without keyfob and having to give them my phone so they could...
If you go into the vehicle menus and go to phone list, just turning off and back on the icon for CarPlay will re-connect and fix the audio. I think that is quicker than resetting the whole sync system.
I regret to inform everyone that this does NOT fix the no-audio bug that occurs on occasion with CarPlay. I have updated a couple days ago, but today my CarPlay came up with no volume at all. Quick disconnect and reconnect fixed the issue as always, but it is still so annoying.

I got my system through a private sale from another member here, and installed it myself (with assistance from a friend/master electrician), so my cost risk was as low as possible. I do not recommend purchasing this system yet, until all issues are resolved. I do know they are being worked on...
That looks great. I had mine replaced when I first bought mine. Would you mind sending the file? It would be much appreciated, although I haven't had any issues in the last 2 years.
PointGuard confirmed to me that the V2X could work without a battery in the stack. I'm not sure the use case for that though. It would work just like the current Ford/Sunrun system (although the 0ms cutover might be possible if the EV was connected and active).
Eventually I plan on having 2...
Are you referring to the truck or the LG battery. I am referring to the LG battery input connection fuses which are in the Delta inverter. There is a 2 pole fuse holder block.
There are no fuses in the inverter for the truck DC connection.
I don't think your issue is related to the OTA. I have no issues seeing my charges and charge rate in the app. I also get notifications of when charging is complete. It is more likely an issue with your truck modem, and happens on mine all the time. The truck doesn't always communicate to...
I received this update, and just went out and tested. Both front windows are working with 1 touch for up and down, so I don't think it is an issue with the software specifically. Our trucks were built within months as well, so I assume our hardware is the same.
I am really not sure what the...
Yes. I was referring to how the vehicle is coupled to the stationary battery and the solar. Enphase has 3 separate units that are AC coupled. Pointguard can have all 3 in the same stack and is DC coupled.
Both Pointguard and Enphase will connect their bi-directional charger to the truck...
This is the CYA language as it is possible for vehicles to software prohibit this.
The NEMA standard has been published as of January. https://www.nema.org/standards/view/evse-power-export-standard
The Enphase system will be AC coupled and a separate unit. It is also still very TBD on...
I have both the Ford Home Integration System and the Pointguard system installed now (not the V2X module yet though). I am working on getting those 2 working together and am very close.
It will be possible to get the PointGuard V2X working like the Home Integration System, with just the...
I think there are a few things going on.
The current F150, Silverado/Sierra, and Cybertruck all have proprietary protocols/actions to get the sessions started, since their chargers are AC, but DC is needed to extract power.
Pointguard is a DC only charger, and sends or received power only...
The Ford HIS system exports power from the truck using DC only. That is why the charge station pro has the CCS connector so the DC pins can be used when in backup mode.
The high voltage DC from the truck goes to the Delta inverter which provides the house with 240 VAC.
Ford and GM have the...
I received the Windows OTA first today, and after that completed, I went back out to turn the truck back on. The Bluecruise 1.4 then appeared as the next available update and it completing right now.
This is most likely an issue with the truck modem and not your app at all. What do the connection icons at the top of your screen show? It should show usually a wifi signal indicator (if wifi is turned on) and the up/down arrows icon. When driving the wifi indicator would turn to cellular bar...
