did you use the resistors and female connectors? I wired the resistors inline and still get errors but it works.....thinking of switching them so that they are exchangeable like in the origonal instructions.
  2. Coming from a Model Y, talk me in/out of a Lightning

also just to mention.....after getting the lightning I was planning on selling the model S but my wife drives it now every day and we have our gas guzzling SUV mostly sitting for road trips or if we need to carpool (escalade ESV) its a great setup and I typically trade trucks frequently but...
  3. Coming from a Model Y, talk me in/out of a Lightning

I own a 2019 model s and lightning. Had the model S first for a couple years (bought it used) and then bought the lightning (SR Lariat) about a year and a half ago I also came from an ICE F150 (2019 raptor) The lightning is much more traditional of a vehicle and bigger obviously...it is...
  4. Turn Signal Indicator blinking fast

I had the same and noticed that one tail light was out and had some condensation in it. dealer replaced it and it fixed the issue
  5. Installed Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 116 T XL All-Terrain Tires

I would still run them up there, will help with range too....in terms of TPMS, no need to recalibrate them, it is the truck computer that determines acceptable range and that can be changed with forscan
  6. Installed Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 116 T XL All-Terrain Tires

I run mine at 42psi, recon grappler SL P275/65/20
  7. Toyo Open Country A/T 3 EV

    Cool, I have the same
  8. Installed Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 116 T XL All-Terrain Tires

that is correct, I have 275/65/20 Nitto tires...for that size you need to set the speedo in for scan to 2631. (stock will be 2547 if you have 275/60/20) you do this in forscan and it will correct speedo, miles, and range estimates
  9. Toyo Open Country A/T 3 EV

forgot to ask what level do you have? looks good
  10. Toyo Open Country A/T 3 EV

awesome, great that they offer them in that size, I have the Nitto recons P275/65/20 and they are really good but when they wear down I might go with these given that they are EV specific (maybe quieter and more efficent) and still light...42lbs

got it, so those 2 grey wires likely loop back into eachother.....so 12 wire it is thanks, Mike
  12. Comma AI self driver assistant

I just re-read the how too....at least the resistor part looks easy enough, I put resistors on the wires coming from the female adaptor side I think. still odd that I have an extra 2 grey wires
  13. Comma AI self driver assistant

I could order a 15 wire cable.....but more importantly, how do I determine which blue, orange, green and pink wire are the canbus given that there are 2 of each?
  14. Comma AI self driver assistant

ok, so before ordering I removed the harness and everything from my truck. Good news: looks like the power plug (4 wire) is long enough to reach so no need to extend that bad news: when I look at the connector the new style appears to have 14 wires that I have to extend instead of 12.... 2...

Thanks, thinking of 2 options for the 12 wire: unshielded: https://a.co/d/hMMezDH shielded: https://a.co/d/7N7R3GH the unshielded I like because it seems like a higher quality wire and black loom....also ships faster but shielded not much more expensive.
  16. Comma AI self driver assistant

any idea what the 4 pin is called, wondering if it is standard and I can just buy a cable to extend it
  17. Comma AI self driver assistant

Got it, so the 4 pin connector will need to be extended if I extend the box up under the mirror or I run without it.
  18. Comma AI self driver assistant
