It used to happen to me a lot... turns out that my fidgeting with the windows buttons was triggering programming mode... I have success retrained myself not to frequently hit the window up switches anymore :)
My lightning was the victim of rodent damage twice. Second time was the day after I got it back from the first repair so I can say that it happens fast.
That picture doesn't look like rodents to me either and I dont see how they could charge a thousand dollars to fix it.

Mine decides its should be in "Calm View" sometimes on startup. I assume its trying to tell me something but its backfiring...
Think I might try one of these in the cab:
I think the default setup for android auto tries to connect via a custom wifi network without using Premium Connectivity.
Sorry that I don't recall all of the details as I dealt with this a long time ago. The easy solution is to simply plug in.
I have had this happen in the past and tracked it down to phone's WiFi usage was using way too much battery (generating heat). Sorry I don't know what made the problem go away; I started by turning off the WiFi connection to truck and used the wired connection for a while. I have not had...
It didn't necessarily happen at home. I recently had several thousand dollars of wiring damage from rodents in one day (probably a squirrel) while parked at work...

There have been no signs of mice in my garage so I am assuming it was caused by squirrels where I work. Note...
Really... more weight + same contact area (resistance) = more likely to move
Simple physics experiment: take an empty container, put it on a steep slope, slowly add weight and see what happens.
My money is on the additional ton of weight.
Green nut works for me. The device the yellow is plugged into is part of the BMS and lets the computer know about various things including current draw and battery voltage.
I do not believe it is ever recommend to disconnect the positive cable (red) before disconnecting the negative (black)...
Body Control Module Fuse Box 8/9 5 amp micro 3 fuse. Tried twice leaving it out over 30 seconds the second time.
Guessing I have a different software glitch. All was well before applying 4.1.1 on the 14th but it still worked till yesterday.
No luck for me. Last data update was yesterday morning.
Will probably try 12v battery disconnect tomorrow.
I hate modern software. I'm a data developer and quality software no longer exists. Cheapest labor gets poorest product. There just isn't enough good talent out there and the market...
