At this point, I am tempted to see if anyone has designed rear light guards for the Lightning, but the obvious caveat is that we need those darned sensors for Bluecruise (and some passive features) to work.
Check your model year. Mine had the housing for the pump despite not having it from factory. I don't know if that was changed later on, I guess it was!
We're doing a video on this later this week but...
We did the washer upgrade too, and were able to route the tubes through the oem route - and the cable followed it. Plugged in the cable on the passenger side, which was difficult, but just about doable.
I'm just taking lead from a certain world Leader ;)
All jokes aside though, that Land Rover is beautiful. If I had a bottomless pit of funds, I'd build one with electric innards.
I haven't experienced this myself - but I will say I've also defaulted to running our FCSP on its own network plan with its wifi base station across from it on a nearby chicken coop. (Yes, my Chickens have wifi and cameras ;) )
FCSP's networking stack is a nightmare, and Siemens recently...
So this is an interesting thread! Certainly easier for loading.
While my Vectrix VX-1 is about the same kind of weight as your Tiger, I suspect its wheelbase would be a little much for this setup, which honestly is sad because loading my bike alone is always scary AF.
I have ramps, chock and...
I personally avoid using the Supercharger network where possible because... I'd rather not give that company my money. However, I would advise you have a NACS adapter for that trip. The charging networks in eastern Oregon are terrible.
If you're interested, back in 2022 We towed a car all the way to Colorado over at Transport Evolved.
It's a while back and I was a lot larger, but the data still holds.
- Part 1
- Part 2
- Part 3
There's a part 4, but it's basically juts us going back without a trailer lol.
I could be convinced ;)
Good to see another PNW'er putting their truck to work. Mine does a lot of hauling, and pulls several cubic yards of dirt like they're not even there. (My trailer isn't big enough for a larger load).
Those who are... tech-savvy with ForScan might want to enable to the toggle to optionally enable and disable walk-away lock.
We just did, because our camera person HATES it, and when we use the truck as a camera vehicle, we will be able to turn that off - as well as the rear tailgate power...
I remember it well, but not ro good reasons.
I already had a NACS adapter, and thought I could get to a local charging station to test it out. So I went for a drive to try and drain the battery a little. Alas, it was snowing hard up the mountain from my house (I'm at 850 feet and it was just...
Be aware if you've updated your 12V you won't get a free one. I had replaced our 12V battery with an aftermarket one after our original 12V battery ballooned. 100% convinced the new battery was killed by the truck and dropped it off on Friday to get a replacement fitted - Dealership got s***y...
