  1. Lightning ranked 2nd best EV pickup, behind Rivian, but beating GM, Tesla, and Hummer

Too bad the Rivian is too small inside (for me) but otherwise I would prefer it too.
  2. Frunk envy

I was concerned about that at first but I'm not certain how accurate the diagrams are. From the pictures of the of demo vehicles it appears that the mirrors extend past the body like they do on the Lightning which is 96" including mirrors. Its all hypothetical at this point. Looking...
  3. Frunk envy

Looks the scout frunk may actually be better than the Lightning's.
  4. Scout EV Pickup & SUV shapes revealed ahead of imminent debut

Well I wasn't going to make a reservation but I just did. Better to have one and not use it... If the interior space is close to the Lightning and the price stays under $60k I might just make the switch. Anyway, it will be a very long time before anyone gets to place a real order for one.
  5. Scout EV Pickup & SUV shapes revealed ahead of imminent debut

Need to sit in one to see how I fit but what we know looks good. The optional gas generator is a nice touch for extending range. Hoping there are good options for some "attachments". My uncle used to plow snow with his old scout and I would love to do the same. So glad to see that it is body...
  6. Come backs when people tout the CT as being magically way better than your Lightning

I would say the same thing and add that they most likely paid at least 50% more than I did.
  7. Fast charging efficiency by Edmunds places F150 Lightning near the bottom

mi/hr charging rates are highly impacted by the vehicles efficiency (i.e. mi/kWh) and is therefore a very subjective comparison.... but everybody is fixated on range
  8. 30K pounds tow-off: R1T vs Lightning (by Edmunds)

I really want to know how they would have done with bigger/better tires. Traction is everything. Pretty awesome for stock configurations however.
  9. Musk: Tesla Cybertruck is waterproof and can serve as a boat to cross rivers, lakes & calm seas 🤯

Sure it does, see if you can add any more water to a full glass.
  10. Atlas Truck?

Exactly my issue with them too. I was pondering investing but their constant solicitations made me think twice and decided against it. Too many competitors are too far ahead...
  11. Cybertruck Delayed Again - No new ETA

Ford Authority article snippet: The Tesla Cybertruck was revealed back in 2019, and the all-electric pickup was originally slated to launch by the end of 2021. However, that date was later pushed to 2022 and then late 2022, with production expected to fully ramp up in 2023. Now that 2022 has...
  12. Rivian Reservations?

In your opinion... Personally I think it was a valid post assuming Rivian allows reservation transfers (I don't know). I suspect that many people interested in electric trucks have reservations with multiple manufacturers. There is no reason to post a derogatory reply, just ignore the thread...
  13. Rivian truck gets MPGe number: 70

That article is saying "emissions equal to 85mpg" which is entirely dependent on how the electricity is sourced and meaningless when measuring efficiency. Felt like a hype piece to me...
