What is dividing Americans? Is it the media that is being consumed to believe that Tesla (American company) Superchargers are evil? If you didn't consume the media or didn't look at social media, would you still be divided and hate a company that is providing charging abilities?

I also like the Rivian, but agree on buying the Lightning was a better choice. If Rivian is still around in 10 years I might end up buying one as I'd be closer to retirement and would be my last vehicle.

I don't want to start a fight here, but I seriously doubt having 80amp charging at home is such a huge incentive that makes it worth more than the later models. It's not really *that* much faster and basically everyone can charge overnight enough for their daily commute on 40amp. No hate coming...
