Almost always get updates on Thursday, and today is Thursday, and I have a 23......

Welcome. We have a Lightning and MY. IMHO, just get a new EVSE with the 25' cord. New truck, new charging, and requires little in electrical work. As for NACS or CCS? Unless you have another NACS vehicle, then just go with CCS. Either way, strongly suggest you get QUALITY adaptors, and QUALITY...
I have not gotten it on my 23 XLT SR, however I got the fastest DCFC I have ever seen last weekend at 171 kw, which is well above official FORD charge rate for SR. So maybe something was rolled out in the background.
Hmmm, I didn't notice a difference going to 42 psi Either there is little.differance and/or I'm oblivious to the change in ride. Result.for my satisfaction is the same.
Ford's updates are hit and miss at best. It may be hey did Mark you to push the update, but that might take time to get to the right people. FWIW, I always seem to get updates on Thursday afternoon. Why? Ask Ford. for that matter I think Ford quietly pushes updates without notifications at...
Another thing, you basically have to have all permissions allowed in the trucks settings for it to work. Same with the phone and AA. If your privacy settings are set to anything like privacy on either, then won't work as they won't be able to communicate. And as stated above AA is not Google...
As long as the module manufacturers completely control the software on their hardware, it will be exceedingly hard for Ford to come out with timely updates and improvements.
I understand the module companies wanting to be sure their hardware functions properly, they are a severe roadblock at...
I've used two different Pixel phones with my Lightning and Android Auto. Been hapoy with both of them, and AA works very well routing and mapping charging in Lightning. Can't speak about any other phone.
I'm using Android and Android Auto for my route planning in my Lightning, and it has been fantastic for me. It has yet to estimate a SOC that is higher than actual at arrival (I stick to speed limits on the interstate), has allowed me to choose DCFC stations, etc. Far superior to what I saw you...
First,.I have no interest in owning a RAM. Still I have to wonder if that after introduction of the EV Charger, and how poorly it's selling, and how poor it seems to be as an EV, if they realized they better do a hell of allot better job. Much like Toyota is figuring out now.
If I remember correctly, the person who did the battery testing as part of their job, that gave us degradation data, sttled on charging to 85% as max daily for their own Lightning.
So many reports. I know forums by nature filter for those, but what happened ain't cool, and it sounds like first dealer is one to avoid all together if at all possible
Will be following, wishing your brother the best one this.
From reports here, both SR.and LR essentially charge at the same rate with this update (still waiting here). This potentially means a greater impact for the SR due to being a smaller battery pack. Since 180kw and 130kw dump a proportionally larger fraction of the capacity of the smaller battery...
